Sorting my life out

Megan's POV ///

It's been a couple of days since the "break up". If that even happened. I don't really know what to call it. We didn't officially "break up" cause he more just kinda stormed off. Anyway we're on a rough patch as we've literally not talked since then. There's been a couple of awkward eye contact but that's about it.

Every so often I've tried to build up the courage to talk to him but I've always chickened out. It's the same with Lara. There's just not been a good opportunity. Everyone's been busy.

I've hardly even talked to Amy these last couple of days. She's been doing interviews and touring cities with hrvy. And Lara and Marcus have been hanging out a lot aswell. So that just leaves me.....doing absolutely nothing with my life what so ever other than binging netflix on my laptop with my ten bags of Doritos in the tour bus feeling like a fat potato.

I know I said I needed to sort my life out but who wants to do that when you can feel depressed over how bad your life is going.

No but in all seriousness I really did need to do something about getting Lara and Martinus back.

We are currently in Germany at the moment and it's so beautiful! I've never been here before but I've always wanted to and now we're here! Except I can't experience it with the people I love most cause of one problem. They hate me.

I'm planning on talking to Lara today actually. That's if she doesn't walk off and ignore me. I'll try.

Today was also the day Marcus and Martinus are seeing Charlene Dudley again which makes me even more depressed cause once again I'm not gonna meet her.

But every cloud has a silver lining as it gives me the perfect opportunity to speak to Lara. Lara only gets 30 minutes with Charlene (don't ask me why, I thinks it was Dave's idea as he hates us but never mind) and then she has to come and sit with me outside to wait. At that time I'm planning to give it a try. Wish me luck.

Here it goes again. The waiting game. It's even worse this time cause I couldn't even see her through the glass. I was in the most boring room ever with a couple of randomers talking to my right. The room was completely bare with only a clock to look at. Which I definitely was spending my time looking at.

I was tapping my foot on the floor as I was way to anxious to sit still. The people sat next to me were getting rather annoyed. I sensed it from the evil glares and shaking of the head.

It was only a couple of minutes until Lara was supposed to come out making me overwhelmed with nerves. They got the better of me making me desperately need the toilet.

I got up and went to the toilet. When I walked back in the room Lara was sitting there looking down at her phone. I took a deep breath before going to sit in the seat next to her. There was a long awkward silence before I attempted to chat.

Megan : what you reading?

Lara : wattpad.

Megan : what book?

Lara : fan fiction.

Megan : is it good?

Lara : why are we talking?

Megan : I don't know.

There was another awkward silence as she went back to reading her book.

Megan : Lara what happened to us?

Lara : you tell me.

She put her phone down.

Megan : what did I do?

Lara : what did YOU do?!?!

The people next to us awkwardly got up and walked out of the room. Probably because they didn't want to interfere with what was about to happen. I don't blame them. I didn't exactly want to be here either.

Megan : I really don't know what I did.

Lara : well where do I start! Firstly, you completely patched me for your new "best friend"!

Megan : what Amy?!?

Lara : yeah!

Megan : this was because of Amy?!?!

Lara : yes!

It all made so much sense now. Every time I was with Amy she would give me a look. She also never attempted to talk or make friends with her which I found a little strange. Now it all adds up.

Megan : Lara, I never meant to stop talking to you! I just got to become really good friends with Amy because you were always with Marcus.

Lara : you just never even asked me if I wanted to join you.

Megan : I never thought you wanted to. I knew you had something against Amy but I never knew what.

Lara : well now you do.

Megan : please Lara, we're throwing away a 10 year friendship over a girl that I just so happened to become good friends with.

Lara : I suppose I was just a little jealous that you were spending more time with her than me.

Megan : I wanted to spend time with you, I just thought you didn't want to spend time with me cause of the looks you always gave me.

Lara : yeah, sorry about those. I get a little weird when I'm jealous.

Megan : it's fine, I'm sorry I stopped talking to you.

Lara : .........so are we good?

Megan : yeah.

Lara : good!

I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulder as we hugged.

Megan : you have no idea how much I missed you!

Lara : I missed you so much!

Megan : also I need to catch you up on everything that's happened which is quite a lot!

Lara : yes! You have a lot of gossip to hear! Aha

Megan : I'm listening! Ahaha

It felt so good to have my best friend back. I hadn't realised how much I missed her before now. I really couldn't live without our weird convos and silly inside jokes. One down and one to go.
