Missed the queue

Martinus POV ///

Megan : MARTINUS!

I jolted my head in her direction. She looked worried like she was desperate to tell me something. I looked back at the stage where I was supposed to be. Marcus ran up the stairs on our queue whilst I was still waiting behind.

I looked at Megan and then back at the stage and then back at Megan. She was close now, still shouting my name in between 'wait'.

I decided to ditch the stage and run in her direction. As I ran to her, several people shouted my name wondering what on earth I was doing. I ignored it all.

The screams of the fans died down as they realised I wasn't there. I didn't even care. Megan mattered more to me than all of them put together.

As I approached her I noticed her eyes were blotchy and red making me even more concerned about what on earth was going on. This better be good.

Martinus : what is it?!?!

Megan : don't do it!!!

Martinus : don't do what?!?!

Megan : don't confirm it! I'm not ready!

Martinus : what why!?!?!

Megan : I'll explain later, just hurry up and get on stage!!

I turned around and ran on stage as quickly as I could. I was already extremely late and I couldn't be any later or Dave would most likely kill me.

As soon as I did, the screams roared through the arena. Everyone cheered as we both danced to elektrisk. Marcus looked annoyed and I can't blame him. That was a bit of a bad move but I had to know what Megan wanted or I wouldn't of been able to do the concert properly with her on my mind.

To be honest I still couldn't do the concert properly and I did have her on my mind the whole way through. I just couldn't think of why she changed her mind so suddenly. It seemed important making me really impatient and wanting to get off the the stage as soon as possible so I could find out.

At the same time I was disappointed. I know I said I was nervous to confirm it but I was also really excited. I want the whole world to know about us. I just don't get why she doesn't.

I definitely didn't give it my all trough the concert and Marcus could see it. He kept giving me looks which I just pretended to not see. There's gonna be lots of questions after this concert. I also had questions which I needed answers to.

The concert finally came to an end as we finished singing girls. I ran off stage and took off my earpiece as fast as I could so I could head to the dressing room. Before I could even start moving Marcus stopped me

Marcus : Martinus!

I slowly turned around, sighing. I was getting extremely impatient.

Marcus : what was all that about!?!?!

Martinus : all what about?

Marcus : you being really lazy during the concert-

Martinus : I don't know what you're talking about.

Marcus : and not coming on your queue?!?!

Martinus : oh you noticed?

Marcus : em yeah!

Martinus : Megan had to tell me something.

Marcus : ugh I should've known it was something to do with Megan.

Martinus : what's that supposed to mean?!?

Marcus : Doesn't matter, just get ready for a shout from Dave.

At that exact moment, like it was on queue, Dave walked over to us with a VERY angry look on his face.

Dave : what was all that about?!?!?

His voice was surprisingly quite calm.

Martinus : I'm so sorry, Megan had to speak to me about something.

I spoke to soon.

Dave : THIS WAS MEGAN!!!!!

His voice was the loudest I've ever heard it. It kinda took me surprise as I'd never seen him this angry over the full 3 years of knowing him. I don't know why Megan gets on his nerves so much. I looked over at Marcus who was also backing away.

Martinus : it's not her fault.

Dave : it is! It's always her fault!!!! I've just about had enough of her messing things up around here.

Martinus : what are you gonna do?

Dave : nothing, but one more wrong move and she's out of this tour!!!

He stormed away. I rolled my eyes at Marcus before going down to the dressing room. I was about half way there when I bumped into Emma. Really?!?! Am I ever gonna get to talk to Megan?!?!!!!

Emma : Martinus!!!

Martinus : oh hey.

Emma : is the concert finished?

Martinus : yup.

Emma : yay, now you can play hide and seek with me!!

Martinus : I can't sorry Emma.

Emma : but whyyyy, Megan or Amy or Harvey or Lara couldn't either!!!!

Martinus : is Megan in the dressing room?

Emma : yeah she's a little upset.

Martinus : really?!?!

I ran passed her but she pulled my jumper, keeping me back.

Martinus : Emma I need to go!!

Emma : who's gonna play hide and seek with me then?

Martinus : why don't you ask Marcus, he's up on stage.

Emma : yeah! Ok bye!

Martinus : bye

I ran, letting out a sigh of relief that I got out of that so easily. I made it to the dressing room and opened the door. Megan, Amy and Harvey were sitting on the couch. They all looked up at me as I ran up to Megan.

Martinus : what happened?

Megan : I can't do it Martinus, I'm sorry.

Martinus : do what?

Megan : this, I can't take it anymore.

Martinus : take what? Megan, you're scaring me!

I looked into her eyes which were full of sadness and despair. It hurt me.

Megan : ....Martinus..........I think we should break up.
