According to the Metropolitan Toronto Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children (METRAC), 51% of women experience at least one incident of sexual or physical violence in their lifetime. Sexual assault can happen to anyone at any time. And it's never the victim's fault. At a point in your life when you're just start- ing to discover your own sexuality, it can totally traumatize you and change your life. This chapter deals with the intense emotions around this issue.
