Before I texted her I was on my way to pick her up, she posted on her Instagram.

Just something subtle. I drive over to her.
She came to the door.
"Later, Awsten!" She said.
"You kids have fun now!" He said.
I took her in my car.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"You'll see." I said.
"A nature reserve?" She asked.
"Damn. I should've gotten the blindfold." I said.
She laughed.
I went to open her car door.
"A real gentleman never lets a lady open her door." I said.
She smiled and kissed my cheek.
We walked around.
It was mostly families having dinner at the picnic tables.
We got a bit further.
The sun was starting to set.
"Be careful. There may be bears!" I said grabbing her shoulders.
I watched as she jumped.
I laughed.
"Jerk." She said.
"You're mean." I pouted.
"What else is new?" She asked.
I laughed.
I love when she sasses me.
"Hey Rox. I need to tell you something." I said.
"Okay." She said.
"I know we've been dating for about a month. But like I keep saying, I've loved you since August. And I've waited too long to tell you this. I fucking love you it hurts. And I know you hate cliché but I'm doing this anyway." I said taking out the ring. "I Andrew Luis Ramos promise you, Roxanne Mackenzie Fuentes that I'll never hurt you. I promise I'll never break your heart. I promise to always support you and shower you with love and affection." I said slipping the ring on her finger.
"Aw Rox." I said hugging her.
She was crying.
"I love you so much." She said.
"I love you too, baby." I said stroking her hair.
