I hurried into my office after getting some coffee and sat at my desk looking at the time. I noticed I had received an email from someone. Clicking on my inbox I see that it is from Hannah. Without intending to, I smile before opening it

I smile and hit the reply button but hear my phone ringing instead and answer it quickly.

“Hey Erin what’s wrong? Did you get that paperwork I left you on your desk for the contracts we gained this month?”I say staring at my computer screen.

“Beth I have Miss Hill here for you do you want me to send her through? And yes, I have collected the paperwork thank you.”She says too professionally

“Umm yeah sure send her through.”I say hanging up the phone.

I hear my door open and I wave her over my eyes not leaving my screen. I was going to make it perfectly clear for her today that I am not interested in any sort of flirtations she was to offer.

“Take a seat Miss Hill I will be with you now.”I say dryly deciding I wanted to reply to Hannah’s message. I could’ve smiled at how bitchy I was acting but that would have just taken away from the act I had been pulling off.

“Take all the time you need.”She says seemingly not bothered.

“You guys are so cute really. Like Bambi and whoever his girlfriend is.”She says and I look over to her taking in her appearance for the first time. It was a pretty obvious statement she was making. She was wearing a dress again but it was different. It hugged her body more and the slit of her dress was higher. She was wearing red lipstick and then I realized that she noticed me looking at me.

I realized she noticed because she was smirking yet not saying anything and her head and tilted to the side her eyes challenging mine.

“Enjoying the view?”She asks in a cocky way. She was so full of herself.
