Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Amber’s POV

                “You left me.” I muttered. “Not a goodbye at the most.” I say quietly as Christian and I walk aimlessly around the empty parking lot behind the venue. “I never saw or heard of you again till now, 12 fucking years later Christian.” I say, feeling anger creep up on me.

                “I know, you were just so little- how do I explain my actions like that to a 5 year old?” He asks me.

                “Well how about when I was 7, 10, 13!” I snap. I sighed and put my head into my hands in defeat. I felt like an ass to Christian and now he probably hates me. And we finally reunited! “I’m sorry.” I say sadly.

                “For what? It’s my fault anyways.” He shrugs.

                “Because now I feel like an asshole.” I pout.

                “I have felt like an asshole for 12 years.” He exclaims, throwing his hands up in the air. I giggled lightly and I look back up with a small grin plasters on my face. “See I’ve missed that cute smile Amber. It’s still the same as it was before I left. Shy but adorable.” He smiled in thought.

                Christian opened the back door to the venue and there was the entire band. I shyly hid myself behind Christian. Not because I didn’t trust them, more like I am just naturally shy. “I found Amber!” Christian says happily.

                “So is she the tiny person hiding behind you?” Jake chuckles.

                “Maybe.” I say, loud enough for them all to hear.

                “First off- how the hell can she be your sister? She’s all quiet and innocent and you’re just…” Jinxx trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence or maybe offend Christian because of his booming voice.

                “Loud?” He finished for himself. Everyone nodded, even me.

                “See even your sister agrees!” Ashley laughs.

                “So are you going to introduce or just stand there?” Andy grins.

                “Oh yeah.” Christian says awkwardly. “So everybody, this is Amber, my younger sister.” Christian says as he pushes me in front. I stare at the 4 men and I wave shyly.

                “Hi.” I say in a hushed whisper.

                “Dude she got the good genes while CC over here got some crazy concoction.” Jinxx chuckled.

                “Maybe so.” I smirk at my brother.

                “Do you still want to watch us perform?” He asks and I nod.

                “Dad doesn’t care how long I’m gone. He doesn’t care how I’m doing, doesn’t care about my grades, really nothing really.” I shrug.

                “Sounds like he went downhill.” Christian sighed.

                “More like hit rock bottom and got a concussion.” I exaggerated as I played a small solo on my brother’s drums. “He also doesn’t care how loud I practice the drums.” I grinned.

                “Well no shit- you can rock out!” Ashley said loudly which made us all stop what we were doing and turn his direction. He turned red as a tomato and walked away to find his base.
