When it came to country hopping, Harry and Meredith had done it well. It took a lot of energy, and each time, it was obvious that they were enjoying themselves. Everything had been moved up a few days as they went to Angola, missing out a few countries that were meant for the royal couple do relief aid. It had been found that they were too dangerous for the royal couple and local militias had targeted the royals. Even with the local governments' promises for safe keeping, it some of these regions proved to be dangerous. Harry had his own reasons about being hesitant to go, and they surrounded his wife. While Harry was practiced in military and royal protocol, Meredith wasn't and times in the past proved that certain situations were hard on her.

In Angola, the airplane touched down Luanda, which was located on the northwest side of the country. In the presidential suite at the hotel, the glass windows stretched out to get perfect view of the ocean and then of the city around. It glowed in the night.

Harry and Meredith climbed into bed, and as the people in charge of them went to sleep, Meredith curled up beside her husband, kissing him on the cheek. Tiredness had made them slow on the airplane after the party, and they only had a few hours to sleep before the world moved around them again. This was what kept them asleep most nights.

"Do you want something?" he asked.

"You think I was gorgeous tonight," Meredith responded.

"I think you're gorgeous every day."

"You still have those dirty thoughts?" Meredith wondered. "Would you like to put them to good use?" She shed her existing clothing, and Harry happily obliged with the dirty thoughts. He had some ideas of his own, and Meredith enjoyed every last one of them. It felt forever since the last time. Their relationship wasn't just based on physical, yet it was nice every once and a while. They weren't past the honeymoon stage anyway.

In the morning, they woke up in crumbled sheets, and the alarm clock beeped loudly. Rolling over, Meredith hit the button. There was a reason they went to sleep right after getting to the hotel. She yawned, and her body ached. Harry's arm snaked around her and pulled her close. He planted kisses on her cheeks and neck.

A knock came to the door, alerting them that other people were in the suit. Harry kissed Meredith's hairline before rolling out bed. He stood proudly as a model before walking into the bathroom for a shower. Meredith leaned back in bed with a sigh.

At breakfast, Meredith's portions were still sized, yet it didn't help. No matter how hard they tried to make her into this pretty and skinny duchess, it wasn't working. They portioned her sizes. Sometimes they made her workout. All of this was done, and still nothing changed about her besides the continual ramp up of Meredith's annoyance.

It was matching outfits again today with khaki pants and white button down shirts. They both wore thick boots that when stepping outside, their feet began to sweat immediately. Meredith's hair was wrapped up in a low bun, and her makeup had been nothing flashy. Her engagement ring were left under lock and key, and she wore just her silver wedding ring.

It was a drive out of the tarmac before a helicopter actually took them to their exact location. Harry glanced at his wife, knowing what happened when she was in helicopters. She usually became motion sick from helicopters, but without much in her stomach, it wasn't the current problem she was facing.

Landmines were still an issue across the world, and the HALO Trust wanted to clear them up. The HALO Trust was actually located in Scotland with other offices located in Washington D.C. and San Francisco. The Hazardous Area Life-support Organization had worked with Princess Diana and Prince Harry in the past. It was in 1997-- the year Meredith was born-- that Lady Diana had visited Angola and walked through a minefield. Now twenty-three years later, Harry and Meredith were going to work with the HALO Trust and walk through a minefield.
