Chapter 21

KEIRA’S POV

“Don’t you think you’re wearing something very tight, KZ?”

“No. I’m totally fine and our son can breathe perfectly.”

He just gave me a look that doesn’t look so convinced. Bahala siya jan, hindi ako magpapalit ng damit. Nandito kaming dalawa ngayon sa kwarto ko getting ready to go to the party. Today is the day. Everything’s set. By now, siguradong nagkakasayahan na sa party sa isang kilalang hotel na pagmamay-ari ng Fuentebella Group. Good thing dahil walang pinapapasok na media sa okasyon na ito.

Titus, Hale, and Grey got their invitation four days ago kaya nalaman namin ang venue ng party. Nakasaad din doon kung ano ang dapat isuot. Everyone who will attend the party shall wear something black. The party will start at 9:00 pm. It’s already 11:15 pm now. We plan on leaving the mansion at exactly 12:00 midnight.

“Tara na sa baba, Ran.” Iniabot niya sakin ang kamay niya and I took it. Even when my OB and the boys insisted that I don’t use high-heeled shoes, I still put on my five-inch heeled glass shoes. Bumaba na kami sa living room at naabutan namin dun ang iba na may kanya-kanyang kausap sa mga communicators nila. They’re doing a last-minute check on everything.

The guys here are wearing all white. Lahat ng mga tauhan kong sasama sa party ay nakasuot ng puti para mabilis naming matukoy kung sino ang mga taga Genesis at kung sino ang mga taga Apocalypse. With the exception of the two divisions na nakikihalubilo ngayon sa party but they all have something in them that will indicate that they’re from Genesis. Of course, my FMOA are wearing white as well. Andito pa rin sila because I don’t want to risk their safety in going to the ball dahil tinuturing silang traydor sa Apocalypse ngayon.

Nagmukha tuloy na mga prinsipe ang mga Royal Guards at FMOA ko. I never thought that they will all look so perfect in all-white. Especially this one who is holding my hand. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na nakita ko silang siyam na nakasuot ng pure white from head to toe. Ang pinagkaiba lang ng mga suot nila ay ang mga gamit nilang tie. Ran is using black, Yan is using a dirty white one, Xander is using blue, Clark is using indigo, Cloud is using green, Titus is using violet, Hale is using red, Grey is using gray and Ash is using peach.

I, on the other hand, is wearing my black and white floor-length gown which perfectly hugged my body. My gown is not just a simple gown. Meron itong mga dekorasyong bato which gave off an air of elegance and power especially that I’m wearing my heirloom – the necklace that Uncle gave me during my 18th birthday. Ito yung kwintas na may pendant ng emblem ng Genesis with the golden crown. Binalik siya sakin ni Ran yesterday. Dinagdag ko rin bilang pendant ang wedding ring ni Mommy. And to add to that one, my tattoo is very much visible on my back as I’m wearing a backless gown. I’m actually screaming ‘Genesis’ with those things in me. My baby bump is not that visible yet so no problem about them finding out that I’m pregnant. Hale already cut my hair but it’s still long enough kaya naman naka’braid ito ngayon which resembles a waterfall.

Nag-antay pa kami ng ilan pang minuto and I listened to my Royal Guards and FMOA through our communication line. The only ones who can talk to me directly are the nine of them. I can’t hear or talk to any other people aside from them but they can. Well, my Royal Guards can dahil sila ang nagbibigay ng utos sa mga division na nasa ilalim ng command nila.

Half of my men were already at the nearby building of the venue. Sila ang mga mata namin ngayon dun and Xander and Cloud are talking to them. I can only hear one side of the conversation though. I turned off my communicator habang nandito pa kami sa mansion. Tinignan ko ang relos ko and there’s only five minutes before we leave. Tumayo na ako and Ran followed suit.

“Let’s go.” My Royal Guards informed the others that we’re on our way and they took their positions. This formation is actually included when we formulated the plan that we’re going to execute tonight. Kung dati ay nakapwesto sina Hale sa harap, likod at mga gilid ko, now, the nine of them used a triangle-shaped formation with me at the center. Titus, Ran and Clark positioned themselves in front of me. Xander, Hale and Cloud took my right side and then Ash, Grey and Yan took my left side. Pumasok na kami sa aming mga designated limousines. I’m with Ran, Titus, Grey and Cloud habang naka’hiwa-hiwalay naman yung iba sa iba pang limousines.
