Chapter 37

KEIRA’S POV

Mukhang nasa Colony na lahat ng miyembro ng ibang mafias dahil panay mga miyembro na lang ng Genesis ang nandito sa mansion. Sumakay na ako sa isa sa mga limousines dito at dumiretso na kami sa Colony.

Pagdating namin, sinalubong agad ako ni Ryu-nii, Nam Tae-oppa at Mr. Gokudera.  They all bowed at me at the same time. Pumasok na kami sa loob at dumiretso sa opisina ko.  We're the only ones inside.

“Please take a seat.”

“First off, I really want to send my sincere thanks to all of the members of Round Table for helping me on this one.  I’m also sorry for your loss.”

“You lost some of your men, too.  It’s inevitable, milady.” Nam Tae-oppa.

“Even if that’s the case, I believe that this is partly my fault so please, let me take responsibility for that and apologize to you guys.” They know that I have a point kaya tumango sila. I gave them a grateful smile. Handa akong pasanin ang kasalanan ko sa nangyaring ito.

“So, what will happen now?”

“Our first stop would be Armageddon’s base to securely bring Robert to Donald.” Tumango ako sa sinabi ni Mr. Gokudera.  Alam ko na ang plano nilang yun.

“Then we’ll go back to our respective countries.” Nam Tae-oppa.

“How about Pyramid?”

“They’re now down to six mafias.  Apocalypse and Griffin is out of the picture. They lost their two strongest mafias so I don’t think they’re going to pull any stupid acts.  Other members of Round Table will deal with the other members of Pyramid in their own countries that’s why we need to go back.” Ryu-nii.

“Are you guys going to be fine? I mean, we lost significant numbers of men as well.”

“Of course we will.  All members of Pyramid sent their elite members here and they have been taken care of.  We will bring down Pyramid once and for all.” Mr. Gokudera.

“If that’s the case, then I will not delay you any further.  I’ll send you off but first, I would like to meet this Robert Smith.” Mukhang hindi nila inaasahan ang sinabi ko and they just stared at me.

“Well? Are you not going to take me to him?”

“Yes, of course, milady.  Follow me.” Si Mr. Gokudera ang unang lumabas ng opisina ko at naglakad naman sa magkabila kong gilid si Ryu-nii at Nam Tae-oppa.

“He’s inside this one.” Tumigil kami sa tapat ng isang cube.  Kaparehong cube ng nasa Omega (Apocalypse’s main HQ). Pinaghalo namin ang mga magagandang features ng Genesis at Apocalypse and used them on both main HQs.  The Colony has an electrified perimeter now as well. May mga ginagawa na ring renovations sa Omega.

“I can go inside, right?”

“Yes.  He’s secured there.” Tumango ako kay Mr. Gokudera at pumasok na sa cube. Once I’m in, agad akong tinignan ni Robert. I did the same. He looks beaten but in my opinion, it’s not enough.

“Look who’s here.” He smirked at me and looked at my tummy.

“Well, yeah, look who’s here.” I smirked back. If he thinks he can play this game alone, then he’s gravely mistaken.

“I’ll get back to you, you know?”

“Sure.  Let me see you try.” Dumura siya ng dugo at napunta sa damit ko ang iba doon. Nilapitan ko siya and punched him straight to the nose. Minura niya ako ng minura habang dumudugo ang ilong niya.
