Dei spent her remaining time in a corner of the library preparing for her PhD class at 6pm.

At a young age of 28, she's already at the tailend of her academics and almost done with her abstract for her Dissertation. If all goes well, she will graduate by age 30 and be one of the youngest PhD holders in DLSU, a title she is secretly desperate to get soon.

Dei has become a driven woman through the years.

And after getting out of an abusive marriage, she is determined to not let any man derail her from achieving her dreams ever again.

But sometimes, when she's alone in a room, hearing nothing but her own thoughts, she still longs for someone who will stand by her side and give her the love she deserves.

There's a void in her heart that she's cautious but desperate to fill.

Somewhere out there, there must be a person for me.

The bell rings which startles her back to reality.

She takes her readings and heads to her class.
