Chapter 3
My group of friends were getting excited because we are finally doing some real practices. Tonight, we were going to sing through "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat"! Kendra was even more excited than we were, because Kirk has the main part of this song. He was working on his part first.
"I dreamed last night I got on the boat to heaven,
and by some chance I had brought my dice along,
and there I stood, as I hollered someone fade me..."
DAMN. I fall for guys who sing so easily. "Oh my gosh, his voice is giving me an eargasm!" Kendra whispered while he was singing. Hannah made up the word eargasm during our show last summer, after hearing so many beautiful voices. It's been used by us frequently ever since.
"I agree!" I said, completely shocked. The rest of our friends were shocked too. His voice seemed even more beautiful when our harmonies were added in, including my little freshman bass. His voice is great, too. The song needed some work, but so far it was great, especially with Kirk's beautiful voice.
