Battle between Rivals: Part 1

Zaldo looked at the roaring Ace.

"There's no doubt about it...this is exactly what I saw before going here. That monster is going to kill us all" said Zaldo.

Ash stands up and head towards Julie.

"We got to get out of this place. Ace is no longer himself..." said Ash.

Julie was still crying, because of what she just witnessed.

"No matter what happens, we need to get out of here. The grandmaster might know what to do about him. So for now, let's retreat" said Zaldo.

"You heard him Julie, it's no longer safe here" said Ash.

Julie looked once again at the roaring Ace.

"Now, let's go" said Ash.

They then run away as fast as they can, but they were suddenly noticed by Ace.

Ace charged at them with incredible speed, and was about to launch its deadly attack.

"Shit! It noticed us!" Said Zaldo.

All of the sudden, the world went black and time stops.

Julie was the only one who is moving.

"W-What's going on here?!" Said Julie as she looked around.

"The time has finally come..." said the person behind her.

"W-Who are you?!" Julie asked in confusion.

"The one who is controlling Ace's body right now, Rogue. Also known as "The knight that devours". And you...the person who holds the key to fight him, Julie Straz." Said the unknown person.

And at the distance, she heard a voice. And she was surprised on what she heard..

"Anyone!! Help me!!!!" Ace screamed.

"Ace?!" Said Julie in surprise.

"You can only hear the thoughts of the person you hold dear in that monster. Julie, if you truly desire to help him, use the power of the goddess inside of you" said the person.

"What?!" Julie.

"You don't have enough time to waste. It's only a matter of time before that monster truly takes over. Now, use my power, for I am the Goddess of the divine beasts, and will aid you in any situation." Said the person.

Julie is still thinking about it.

"I know that this is all too sudden, but you don't have enough time." said the person.

"Fine.. I'll do it" said Julie.

After a moment... things went back to normal.

And Ace's attack was blocked by Julie's axe.

"Julie?!" Said Ash.

"Don't worry, dad. I'll handle him, you two head towards the city square" said Julie.

"But..!" Said Ash.

"Just go!" Julie yelled.

"Let's go, Ash. Have faith in your daughter." said Zaldo.

They then run as fast as they can.

While Julie kept on blocking Rogue's attacks with her axe.

"I'm not gonna let you go any further, Ace!" Said Julie.

The axe glowed and the power of the goddess flows within it.

Rogue realised the axe and he was angrier than before.

"C...C...CRISTINA!!!" Rogue yelled.

Rogue landed a big blow on the axe and Julie was blown away.

After that, she coughed out blood and could barely stand.

"I'll take it from here, Julie.." said an unknown voice.

Rogue starts his attack once again, but this time his punch was caught by the axe and Julie kicked him, sending him to the wall.

"Long time no see, Rogue" said Cristina as she uses Julie's body.

Rogue got back once again and roared angrily.
