(Y/N)'s POV:

Seeing Willow this happen made me feel like I had all the treasure in the world right here before me. She never broke from that smile that draws all my attention to her while she listen to Weiss telling some embarrassing stories that happened to her and her team. After Weiss finished Willow stayed silent which had me and Winter concerned. "Something bothering you Willow?" I asked. She answered without hesitation, "Yes there is." She looked at me and continued. "I've been in here for nearly three days (Y/N). I think it's time I got out of bed and stretch my legs." I was about to protest, but come to think of it. I'd do the same thing she's about to do. Winter started to protest, telling her to stay in bed till she's absolutely healthy and back to normal. "Winter, I know you and Weiss care about me, but I can't stay under a roof forever you know." "I know mother, but-" I quickly got up and walked to her side to help her on her feet while interrupting Winter. "But nothing Winter! She's got to get some fresh air sooner rather than later, and besides..." I looked at Winter. "You'd do the the same thing in her position." Winter signed and conceded to defeat while Weiss stood on the other side ready to help her mother to her feet. "Don't worry Winter." Willow said trying to help her cope with defeat. "A true Schnee is always persistent no matter the situation at hand." Willow said smiling. Winter looked at her and chuckled while saying she hates herself for that. Being in bed for so long, I'm sure Willow was gonna stumble the moment she stood up, so I prepared myself at her side the moment she might keel over. "Now let's see what ship you brought me on, shall we?" She looked at me and Weiss as we each took one of her hands and helped her onto her feet. "I should mention that Ozpin and my team are on board with some other friends of mine." Weiss blurted as Willow tried to stand up. "Splendid! I'll be sure to-" Willow's legs buckled under her which nearly led her to drop onto the hard wooden floor beneath her till I quickly swooped her up and off her feet out of habit. Winter and Weiss looked at us with a stupid grin on their faces while Willow blushed looking at me while I stared at her oblivious to the position I put her in. "Might not want to rush yourself so soon Willow." I slowly put back onto her feet, but this time she kept herself up by holding onto me. After she finally got her balance I took her hand and started to have her walk towards the cabin doors where Weiss was waiting to open it for her. Winter stayed on Willow's other side just in case she should collapse again, but Winter gave me a sly smirk knowing I wasn't gonna let that happen. I looked at her confused, but quickly realizing what I did when Willow blurted out, "I never thought you'd be so bold to sweep me off my feet." I instantly felt my face starting to burn from my blushing while Winter, Weiss, and Willow laughed at my predicament. I tried to say something back, but ended up a stuttering mess. I couldn't help but feel like a child once more looking at the girl I had a crush on. As we got to the door I finally had some words to say, only that they were a forewarning rather than a remark. "Might want to-uuhh prepare yourself Willow. The sun is nearing its peak so it's gonna be a little bright out." She nodded at me and said she's ready. Weiss opened the doors and waited outside for Winter, Willow, and I to exit before closing them behind us. Willow instantly put her free hand in front of her face to shield her eyes from the sun's rays shining down on the deck. Unknowing to her, I noticed Weiss's friends and Ozpin watching us from various sides of the ship with some of the crew as well. As I looked back at Willow I couldn't help but stare at her pale beauty as the sun caste over her. My heart felt like it was gonna explode out of my chest the longer I stared at her. Her white hair gently flowed as the breeze blew over the main deck. I felt my face starting to burn up again which didn't go unnoticed by Willow when she looked at me and smiled after adjusting herself to the sun. "You're blushing again captain." She said with a small chuckle. I quickly straighten my posture and replied, "Maybe, but it's hard not to when you have an angel on board." I tried to act tough and immune to her charms, but Weiss and Winter's smile told me the obvious that I was failing. Miserably! I couldn't help but look away while the three laughed at my predicament, but I wasn't mad...just very embarrassed. Winter and Weiss took over helping Willow for me while I tried to get myself. Weiss had Winter help her take their mother to her friends and Ozpin to introduce them. While they were getting to know each other I went over to Grace and Victoria near the helm and had them pass a message. As I approached them, Victoria put it together what I wanted to talk to them about was serious and secretive. "Grace, Victoria! I need you two to pass the message: No one mention nor let any of our new guess see the two locked away below." They both nodded and walked away and disappeared from everyone's' sight as they went back below. I leaned on the railing on the quarter deck looking over everyone on the main deck. The blonde boy was comforting his buddy there hiding behind the long boats. Guess someone's afraid of the open ocean. I started to snicker at the thought before I heard a set of footsteps come from my left. I turned my head to see Ozpin approaching me with a cup in his hand with steam coming out the top. He stood at my side and said nothing which gave me the opportunity to ask, "Tell me Ozpin, what's gonna happen to me after I make landfall to let you and your students go?" He looked at me and didn't answer. He took a sip from the cup in hand before responding. "I'd have you come and join Beacon to pay for the crimes you've committed here before and after your journey to the Tempest Seas." I raised an eyebrow and smirked while asking, "But?" He signed and replied looking over at the kids surround Weiss and Willow. "I know you'll never take such an offer. It's not in your nature." I chuckled and kept listening. "I've seen a lot of terrible scenarios. Families getting killed, children dying before my eyes, but never have I seen one where the mother of two childr-" "Three." I interrupted. He looked at me and asked, "Three?" I nodded and looked at him saying, "Winter, Weiss, and Whitley. He's her third and youngest. Sadly he's following his father's footsteps which I find rather disgusting." "How would you know that information?" I looked at Willow and said, "She told me when she first woke up. I never told Weiss and Winter, but she's not sure what to do at this point. Go back to the prison and try to survive once again, or live out on her own." He looked at Willow as I was and asked, "What did you say?" I didn't answer. I would encourage her to leave, but deep inside me...I wanted her to run away with me once more. One last time, to give her an adventure she'll never forget. Ozpin and I looked over to see one of the crewman yell, "GET YOUR GRUB LADS!" I left Ozpin's side and went down to the main deck towards Willow and the group surrounding her. "Well since you don't want to be in bed all day, mind joining us below for lunch Willow?" I asked with a smile. She looked up from where she was sitting and replied, "Yes I would (Y/N). Care to help a woman onto her feet?" She had to ask it like that. I gently grabber her hand and help her up while Winter and Weiss were snickering knowing damn well how much that question made me blush.

Winter's POV:

Once we got below the main deck we all already got our lunch and sat at which table we chose. I noticed Weiss's friend with the ginger hair was sitting across from the tall man, Andre talking about another challenge. I walked over to the table where (Y/N) and our mom were sitting and took the spot right next to (Y/N). Weiss sat next to mother and we both looked at them sitting across from each other not saying a word, yet he was smiling and mother was making a pouting face. I nudged (Y/N) in the arm and asked, "Um if you don't mind me asking, why are you two looking at each other and not talking?" He snickered which earned a slight kick from our mom towards his leg which made him scoot back a bit, but still snickering before responding. "I always did tell her before I left that I would get on board a ship someday. And look who was right!" I looked at her and saw her smiling, but judging her expression trying to be that of a scowl at him, she's hating herself from smiling. "I hate you so much (Y/N). You and your stupid foreshadowing." He leaned over towards our mother and replied, "It's not foreshadowing, it was a promise." He smirked near her face when she took the chance and took a spoon full of food and flung it at his face as a joke since she started to laugh under her hand. He leaned back and wiped the food off his eye before returning the favor with his food. They both started to laugh while Weiss and I watched right next to them act like a bunch of love sick teens at a restaurant. "Ahem." We all looked to see Ozpin standing there with his tray before taking a seat at the end of the table next to mom and (Y/N). (Y/N)'s smile faded slightly, but didn't disappear all the same. "I see you two are making up for lost time." "There's a lot more to make up for and little time to do it Mr. Ozpin." I remember when she smiled like that before she was kidnapped, but this smile had more behind it. It wasn't fading away with a bad memory, it almost looked like it had pure joy behind it, yet it was something I've seen before but it just doesn't feel the same. Just before Weiss and I could join in, (Y/N) asked Ozpin about Weiss's friends on board here. "Ozpin, mind if I ask you about the students?" He looked at (Y/N) and replied, "Go ahead captain." "I understand you had a plan to come on board an rescue the three without a proper escape, so what do you plan on doing since they don't have to work on here?" Ozpin didn't reply right away till (Y/N) came up with a interesting. "I have an idea. They can help with the smaller chores on board like swabbing, holystoning, and clearing some of stuff above on the main deck, or they could give some of the crew a challenge in sparring." "Why would you make that offer?" He looked at Weiss and said, "Keeps the day rolling, above all it keeps you young-lings from lounging around while the crew does the hard work. They could use a break and have a sparring match here and there." He looked back at Ozpin and he nodded in agreement before giving an official reply. "I believe the sparring would be better suited for them. They could learn something from an opponent with far more experience, let alone someone who doesn't fight fair." I noticed (Y/N) smirking before responding, "That's what I wanted to hear. I'll pass the word then. Tell your students to prepare themselves for a quick fight." With that said and done he got up and took mom's finished tray with his before walking away. I looked at Weiss as she looked at me before our mother spoke up, "This should be an intriguing evening." We looked at her and asked, "What's got you so excited?" She quickly responded which surprised us what she said. "I think I'll take (Y/N) on in a match. It's been awhile since I've used a blade." I was about to protest till she got up and started to walk on her own without Weiss or I helping. As she went to find (Y/N), Weiss and I looked at each other before she said, "I guess seeing (Y/N) did more good to her than before." I nodded in agreement and asked Ozpin, "Are you gonna join us?" I was curious, but not surprised when he said no. He finished his food and walked away with his tray before passing the word about sparring with the crew. I always thought pirates were all scoundrels, guess I was wrong. Weiss and I finished our food and took the trays back before joining her team. "Weiss did you hear!? We're getting a chance to fight the pirate captain's crew!" Weiss signed and rolled her eyes before responding, "I know Ruby, I was there when (Y/N) brought it up with Ozpin." Ruby quickly took off to the top deck while everyone was looking at the crew around them probably wondering who they could take on in a fair fight. I looked over and saw Grace coming towards us. She stopped in front of me and asked with a smile on her face, "Care for a match or two Winter?" She extended her hand in a gesture of a fair and honest fight, maybe. I took her hand and gave a smirk in return while responding, "You're on Grace!" She gave me a firm hand shake before walking away. I looked around trying to find mom, but to no avail. I asked Victoria and she replied, "Check the captain's cabin, I believe I heard him say he had some swords for your mother to choose from." I thanked her and went below towards (Y/N)'s cabin. Once I arrived I noticed the door was cracked in curiously I peeked inside. I looked in and came to a state of shock at what I saw, (Y/N) and our mom where sharing a kiss. I wanted to barge in, but knowing what she's been through and their past, I stayed back. I felt a smile creeping on my face knowing I was happy for her and wondering what future was in store for her.
