Rory's POV

Six weeks has passed since I had the triplets and tonight is the announcement of me being a double heiress. I was so excited.

The babies are all at the estate being watched by sitters. We don't do nannies. We help each other out and we have a whole neighborhood just for ourselves and our family.

As I was getting ready there was a knock on the door. "Come in." I say.

In comes all the DuGreys. "Hey guys." I say.

"We have something for you." Nathalie says.

"Since your a daughter and a granddaughter to us we want to give you a family heirloom." Janlan says.

Marcus hands me a velvet box. "This was my mother's." Marcus says.

I open it up and shed a tear. "It's beautiful." I say choked up.

"Your welcome baby girl. We love you." Tristan says hugging me as Finn comes in.

"You ready love?" Finn asked.

"I will as soon as I put these on." I say showing him the necklace and earring set my family gave me.

Finn helped me put the necklace on as I did the earrings and he escorted me down to the top of the stairs.

Soon I heard our cue to start walking down the stairs. I looped my arm through his and we walked down the stairs to the stage. I gave Finn a sweet kiss and walked to the mic. "It's an honor to be my grandparents heiress for both families. They have taught me to follow my dreams and I have. When I was nineteen my best friend who's my brother Tristan enlisted in the military. I also found my love in Finn and he followed me as I pursued my dream. For two years we trained and became seals. I got married to my best friend the love of my life Finn Morgan. The years have passed with graduating law school. Having heartbreak sadness love and happiness. In two years time my unit and I will be retired from the military to raise our kids and run the family businesses. We will work together as a family to help each other thrive in all the businesses. Our family will pass down to our kids one day. I want the younger generation to know that you may not want to run the family business now so go out pursue your dream and when the time comes take over the family business. Ask Logan he did the same thing as did the rest of us. We made our own paths and in the end it brought us back to the family business. Thank you all." I say smiling.

Everyone in the room cheered and clapped. I saw Andrew Marcus my dad and Grandpa Strobe go to the mic. "We have an announcement to make." Marcus says.

"Regarding our law firms." Andrew says.

"Tristan Rory and Colin we have merged all three law firms together. You three will be running the firm together as a family." My Grandpa Strobe says and we smile at him.

We left the stage and headed to the bar. "I'm so happy we get to work together." Colin says joyfully.

"You all will be helping each-other out  in all businesses." Grandpa Richard said.

"I'm glad we get to work with our families." I say smiling widely.

"A lot has happened in the last few years and I wouldn't change a thing." Grandma Emily says happily.

"Several weddings and fifteen grand babies." Amelia gushes.

"I'm proud of you guys." The captain says.

"Thank you for all that you've done for us." Tristan says appreciatively.

"Yes and thank you for putting us with Shane. He may have lost his life but he lives on through us all." I say smiling widely.

Before anyone could say anything else someone's phone went off. I realized it was the captain he walked away and took the call. We continued to talk and when he made is way back to us he looked pale. "What's wrong?" I asked him.

"He's escaped." He exclaims.

"No!" Tristan says.

"We need to get home now." I say and we say our goodbyes and head home.

Immediately I knew something was wrong. "Guys something's off." I say and head back towards the cars.

I pop the trunk to my SUV and open the secret compartment. "Holy shit." Logan exclaims.

"You guys need to get back to the rest of the family now. Tell them what's going on. That something is wrong stay there and tell the captain." I say adamantly.

"Be safe guys." Tristan says. They nod and take off.

I hand us each a vest. I grab my gym bag and change out of my dress. I hand everyone guns and extra ammo. "You ready for this?" I asked them and they nodded.

We slowly walked to the back of the house and look inside. "Shit." I say.
