Making Cookies

(Third person POV)

Tyler and Josh were in the kitchen

They were supposed to be making cookies

But when Josh stirred a little too fast and covered Tyler in flour....

Things went a little down hill

The two boys threw flour, chocolate chips, and joking light-hearted insults at each other

Madison sat on the living room floor, which was connected to the kitchen since the house was very open and not too big

Zack stayed sprawled across the couch, occasionally sitting up and laughing at his brother and Joshua

Zack chatted on the phone with someone, discussing the mall, shopping, and boys. The semi-occasional blush appearing on his face

Jay walked down the stairs, smiling at the two younger kids before turning towards the kitchen

"What the hell are you two doing!?"

Jay sighed, trying to hide the grin on his face, replacing it with a faux frown

"We're uh.. we're making cookies"

Tyler turned his head toward his brother, making eye contact as he slowly dragged his flour covered hands down Joshua's shirt

"Making cookies, huh? Doesn't look like it"

Josh blushed, grinning so wide his eyes squinted, just how Tyler loved

"Leave them alone, Jay. It's cute!"

Zack adjusted himself further back into the couch, although he agreed with his sisters comment, he was still salty

"Must be nice to have a guy actually into you"

Jay rolled his eyes,

"Okay. Tyler, you and Josh have to clean up this mess, and make Zack do something so he stops being so angsty. Madison, you can do what ever you want today. Since you actually finished your homework"

Tyler groaned, Josh pushing him slightly, mumbling something to Ty telling him to stop being such a cry baby

Zack stood up, walking to his room upstairs as he continued chatting on the phone

"Can I bring a few friends over?"

Madison asked her eldest brother Jay as he helped the teenage boys clean up the kitchen

"I don't mind. Can I ask who though?"

Madison shrugged, taking a seat on one of the kitchen barstools

"I dunno, I'll probably invite Kris, Karson, and Leena"

Jay wiggles his eyebrows, Madison turning her head and blushing

"Sounds like fun. Do I need to pick them up on my way home from the store?"

Madison shook her head

"No, they're already in town so they're just going to ride their bikes here. We'll be in the basement"

Jay nodded, washing and drying his hands

"Sounds like a plan"
