"I miss him so much Hayley, I don't understand why he left"

I sobbed into my friend Hayley's chest.

"Did he not love me? Was I not good enough?"

Hayley sat on the hospital bed next to me, hushing me softly whenever I got overwhelmed with emotions.

I was stuck in a stupid fucking hospital because of some boy I had a stupid fucking crush on.

They were going to keep me there for a couple days while they tested me for any illnesses, already putting me on anti-depressants.

They weren't helping so far, as you can tell.

"Oh hush, Tyler. You were the best you could've been to him. Maybe something happened and he just didn't tell you about it. I'm not sure, but he could possibly be confused himself"

I nodded gently, trying to take in and process her words even though my brain felt scattered and dead.

I sniffled, rubbing my temples as I leaned down. Resting my back against the bed again.

"Can you get a nurse? I have a headache. I want some pain meds"

"Sure thing, Ty."

I closed my eyes, trying my best to just fall asleep after Hayley left the room.

It's been a long week.

(Kind of a filler chapter. Writing has been hard for me lately :( not sure why)
