Millie's POV:
"Are-are you recording us?" Finn stammered, his face turning a dusty red colour.
"Yep. Every second of this beautifully embarrassing-" Sarah began confessing.
"How long have you been filming?" I interupted, my cheeks starting to match Finn's.
"Things got interesting when Mr. Romantic over here decided to stand up in front of you, Millie," Sarah answered, "And I thought you might want to remember this, more less for me to never let you forget it."
"Stop filming. Now," Finn said more seriously. I looked over at my shaking co-star, who was beginning to ball his fists.
"Jesus, calm down, Finn. It's only a video-" the hairdresser started.
"I said, turn it off. Turn it off, God damnit!" Finn practically yelled, eyes full of anger and disgust.
"Okay. Sorry.." Sarah apologized, ending the recording and sticking her phone in her back pocket. She excused herself from the trailer, leaving Finn and I alone.
"Millie," Finn said, turning to face me, "I'm sorry for what I did. I don't normally do that but I thought you needed some kind of reassurance about what you said and I just.." he trailed off.
"Finn, it's okay. More than okay, I'm actually glad you did it," I admitted.
"Wait, what? Seriously?" he asked.
"Yeah, I needed you to stop me from giving you even more compliments than I already have," I half-truthfully explained.
"Oh.." he said quietly, his face looking almost sad.
"Hey," I whispered softly, regaining his attention, "Look at me."
I looked down at his hands, and took them gently in my own. I reconnected our eyes, and he looked shooked and confused.
"I..I didn't mean to ramble off about your hair earlier. I'm sorry if you took it like I liked you or something. I just think..." I paused.
"I just think you look relatively handsome on a daily basis, and I guess I feel like straightening it ruins that. That's all," I finished, weakly smiling at the end.
Finn nodded slowly, looking like he was taking in every word I said very carefully.
"And about the kiss," I said, "It doesn't have to be romantic or a big deal or anything. It can just be a friendly thing."
"Okay, cool," Finn replied, smiling down at me.
"Now, as for picking you up for the Duffers," I said, changing my tone and dropping his hands.
"Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen, considering I still have to look a little less attractive until I'm done my Mike transformation," Finn teased, ending with a smirk.
"All true!" I giggled, smiling widely at Finn.
"Could you tell me what the announcement is, though?" he asked.
"Of course! Just text me and we can meet up later or something," I answered reassuringly.
"I should get going though, I'll see you later?" I said, letting my voice raise in the last part.
"Yeah, bye Mills," he finished with a wink. It's been so long since he called me that.
I threw my head back and chuckled at his wink, then waved him a quick goodbye and hopped down the trailer steps.
Well, that just happened. I don't have time to think about it right now, so that's a later issue.
I jogged across the street, my ponytail section swinging bath and forth until I reached the sound stage.
