Finn's POV:

"What the fuck..." I mumbled to myself, stomping down the steps of the trailer, "What the fuck?"

"Hm?" a voice spoke, and I turned around to get a 360 degree scan of the gravel lot.

"Who-Who's there?" I stammered nervously.

"Chill, it's just me," Sadie appeared from behind her and Gaten's trailer.

"Oh," I sighed in relief, walking over to the red head.

"What's up?" she asked.

"Nothing..." I looked to the ground, moving my foot through the gravel.

"Obviously there's something going on," Sadie pressed, crossing her arms as I looked back up at her. I glanced subconsciously back to my trailer, then back at Sadie.

"I see," she said, and I squinted.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"Girlfriend problems?" Sadie asked, and I parted my lips, trying to say something but no words came from my mouth.

"It's-It's not like girlfriend problems though. It's more like, like..." I finally spoke, then trailed off.

"Friend problems?" she questioned, and I nodded slowly.

"Millie's just not herself, and I can't seem to do anything to help her," I started to explain.

"What do you mean she's not herself?" Sadie asked, leaning into her hip.

"She's just different. Not around you guys though. Sometimes when she doesn't notice I'm around, she lets down her guard," I vented, and Sadie nodded considerably.

"I mean, Millie is an unbelievably talented actress," Sadie said, then paused as though she were waiting for my response.

"And?" I asked after a moment.

"And, I wouldn't be surprised if she used her acting skills to stop us from seeing what she's really going through," Sadie explained.

"Oh," I parted my lips in realization.

"Should I go talk to her?" I asked after a moment.

"No. Give her time to recollect herself, and she'll come to you when she's ready," Sadie advised, then started to walk past me to wherever she was going.

"And Finn," she stopped, grabbing the sleeve of my jacket.

"Yeah?" I questioned.

"If she tells anyone anything, it will be you. Not Caleb or Gaten, not even me," she said. I nodded solemnly in response, and she patted me on the shoulder before starting to walk away again.

"Let me know if anything else happens," Sadie ordered, then swiftly walked away after swinging her hair over her shoulder.

I watched her walk away for a second, and then turned back to face mine and Millie's trailer.

"I'm here," I whispered breathily to the girl inside the metal container.

Millie's POV:

"Lilia, he's threatening me again," I spoke over the phone, finally picking myself up after my fight with Finn.

"He's threatening you?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said sadly.
