Millie's POV:

"Dad?" I barely whispered, not believing my eyes. Was I on medication or something?

I looked around the room, appearing to be a hospital. Why was I in a hospital?

"Yep," my father replied unfazed, with a mere shrug.

I haven't seen my father since I was casted for season one of Stranger Things. And now here he is?

"I-I need to leave," I glanced to Finn, making hard eye contact. He looked worried and confused beyond his mind. I started to try to move my legs off the bed, but I was stopped by another paramedic.

"Miss, you can't leave-" he explained, holding me down.

"I need to get out-out of here!" I stammered, struggling under the grasp of other nurses and doctors.

"Your condition is still unstable, she can't leave," one of the nurses mentioned.

"I feel-I feel sick," I blurted, feeling my eyes start to roll upwards.

"Like throw up sick?" I heard Finn ask, and tried my best to nod, and then-

I threw up all over myself.

"Shit," Finn murmured.

"Someone get her to the showers," the nicer paramedic ordered a nurse, who nodded.

"No," I said sternly, my eyes glaring.

"You need to rinse off," a doctor told me.

"I'm not going unless Finn comes too," I pressed, eyes still hard.

"Ok, fine. Come with us, kid," the nurse offered.

I was cleaned up a bit by the staff, and then transferred to a wheelchair.

"I got it," I heard Finn say behind me.

"Ok, follow me," the nurse directed, and started walking to the exit of the room. I started moving forward in the wheelchair, tilting my head up to notice Finn pushing me.

"Hi," he smiled down at me.

"Hi," I returned.

We continued out the door and down the hallway, until we turned into a room with a bunch of shower stalls.

"We're gonna get you all cleaned up, okay?" the nurse told me softly.

"Okay," I replied, and Finn wheeled me over to a stall. It was basically just a shower curtain, with a wall on either side to block off each shower.

"Okay Millie, we're going to help you to stand up, okay?" the nurse offered, and I nodded.

"What's your name, by the way?" I asked as she took one of my hands and Finn took the other. I felt bad for not knowing.

"Brooke," she answered with a smile.

"Okay, I'll try to stand now," I informed them, and pushed my weight into my feet. I leaned into them slightly when I felt light headed, and then recovered.

"You good?" Finn asked.

"I think so," I replied.

"Let's get you in the shower now," Brooke said as she pulled back the shower curtain, "It works like any other shower. Try to give your clothes a good rinse. If you need anything, just yell, we'll be here."

"Okay, thank you Brooke," I said gratefully, then stepped into the shower stall, closing the curtain behind me. I turned the shower on warm, leaving my clothes on so they could get a bit of a wash.
