Finn's POV:

I sat in a leather booth with a glass of iced Coca-Cola in my hand.

"Oh my God, Noah look!" I heard a familiar British voice yell over the music, and I looked up. Millie and Noah practically skipped over to a table with fries on it. I felt a nerve in my neck twitch as my eyes found their intertwined fingers.

"FRIES!" Noah screamed, and Millie bent over laughing. Noah picked up a cone of fries for himself, as well as Millie.

"This after party is awesome!" Millie exclaimed as the two of them walked over to a booth near I was sitting by myself. I hunched over, praying that they wouldn't recognize me.

Ding! My phone buzzed, and I reached in my jacket pocket to pull it out.

milliebobbybrown just posted a photo.

I tapped in my passcode, 1983. Facial recognition didn't work in the darkness of the room.

I opened Instagram, and Millie's new post glowed on my screen.

Millie and Noah sat side by side, giggling with their fry cones in hand.

It stung, I'm not gonna lie. But why? Why did I care about what they did?

I decided to let it roll off my back, locking my phone and placing it back in my suit jacket.

"Oh there he is!" I heard Caleb's voice in the distance, and looked in the direction.  I squinted, and Sadie, Gaten, and Caleb with his finger pointed at me appeared across the after party room near the entrance.

And Millie and Noah didn't know I was here.

Thanks a lot, Caleb.

In a sad effort to conceal my location in the booth directly behind Noah and Millie's table, I brought a hand to my neck and did the 'cut it out' motion.

"What are you doing?" Sadie asked as the trio began approaching me. I widened my eyes, trying to convey my desperation to her. She just looked confused, and let out a puff of air.

I scrunched into the corner of the booth seat, getting as close to the wall as humanly possible.

"Finn, cut the bullshit," Gaten said, and I sighed. Well, there goes any chances of me staying invisible.

"Wait, what?" I heard Millie say from the table, her voice muffled. The sound of a chair screeching on the ground came next, and I closed my eyes, scrunching my face up.

"Finn?" Millie questioned, her voice loud and clear this time. I opened my eyes painfully slow, revealing a glasses donning Millie who looked pretty pissed.

"Millie?" I questioned, trying to play the fool, "You're here too?"

"Oh God damn it Finn," she crossed her arms, "You bloody well know I've been here this whole time."

I looked down shamefully, and started to shake my leg up and down nervously.

"Why didn't you say anything to us?" she asked, her voice turning more soft. I shrugged, avoiding eye contact.

I didn't have the will to tell her I didn't like seeing her like that with Noah.

I heard the sound of fabric brushing against something beside me, and I felt the booth seat dip slightly.

"Hey," Millie whispered, placing a hand on my shoulder. I tilted my head over to Millie, who was now sitting beside me.

"I'm gonna go get some punch," Gaten trailed off, and the other three follow suit.
