Finn's POV:
"How are they holding up?" I asked the girl on the couch beside me as I chewed on some gum.
"Who?" Millie questioned, turning her head up to face me, making the arm I had around her shoulders shift a little.
"The fandom," I clarified, and she grinned widely.
"They're absolutely dying," she answered, making me chuckle as she emphasized her British accent.
"It's not getting weird though, right?" I asked wearily, rubbing my tired eye with my free hand.
"Not that I know of," Millie responded, "I'm gonna go check though."
"But we're not even done the episode! The tarts haven't even gone in the oven yet!" I whined only half-kidding as I gestured to Anna Olson on the television in my living room.
"I'll be right back," she sighed and went to stand up, but I held her hand down gently so she couldn't leave.
"Promise?" I asked quietly.
"Promise!" she giggled, and I happily released her hand. I watched her walk away, then continued watching the baker make the pastry.
"What the fuck..." I hear Millie mumble from the kitchen.
"Hm?" I hummed, glancing slightly over to wear she stood, eyes glued on her phone.
"What the fuck!?" she exclaimed a little louder, then marched back over to me.
"What?" I asked, furrowing my brow as I stood up.
"Have a look for yourself," she ordered angrily, extending her phone towards me forcefully. I took the device from her in confusion, then adjusted my eyes on the screen.
It was a screenshot of Jacob's story on Instagram, with the text "u though I wouldn't find out."
I flipped to the next slide, where it read, "Tired of being f'd over. Happens on a daily basis it feels like I'm finding out new stuff."
"So?" I asked, scratching my head.
"So?" Millie raised her eyebrows dramatically, suddenly sounding quite annoyed.
"What does that have to do with us?" I asked, and her lips parted in disappointment.
"You seriously don't know? Finn, open your eyes," she whined a little, and I sighed.
"I'm sorry. Can you just tell me?" I questioned, making my eyes purposefully big.
"No-I-Oh come on you can't just do that you know I'll say yes to whatever you want when you do that!" she exclaimed, seeming a little fluster.
I smirked, watching her face turn red.
"Okay," I said teasingly, moving my hand to twirl my hair slightly as I popped an obnoxiously loud bubble with my gum, "Minty."
"Oh shut the fuck up!" Millie exclaimed with a giggle.
"So what is it?" I repeated.
"I think Jacob's referring to the picture you took of me," she explained, sitting back down beside me.
"The fandom breaker?" I asked.
"Mhm," Millie hummed, "The whole fandom thinks so too, but they can be wrong about a lot of things."
"True," I considered, "Did he say anything else?"
"I'll check," Millie answered, then went back on her phone. I watched as she reopened Instagram, and refreshed her explore page a couple times.
