Millie's POV:

The plane touched down, and I stroked Noah's hand as he slept on my shoulder, his face tear stained.

"Huh?" he wondered, sitting up abruptly.

"We're here!" I exclaimed.

"Did I fall asleep?" he asked, and I nodded.

We grabbed our backpacks from under our chairs, and I checked the time on my watch.

11:23 am.

Okay, if we get out of here fast enough, we can make the check-in window with plenty of time," I informed Noah, doing the math in my head.

"Don't worry, you don't have to tell me twice to get off a damn plane," he joked.

The line of people began to move in front of us, and we jumped in. We got off the plane, and Noah sighed, looking around for the baggage carousel.

"There!" he pointed to a sign," Flight 85A,"

We speed walked like a couple of soccer moms over to the carousel, giggling as we tripped on our own feet.

The conveyor started up within a few minutes, and our baggage was out in the first group. We grabbed our bags off the belt, and made our way to the taxis outside.

I whistled loudly, hailing a cab over to where Noah and I stood on the side of the curb.

"The Four Seasons, please!" I instructed the driver as he helped Noah and I load our bags into the trunk. We climbed into the back seat, and the cab started driving.

"Woah!" Noah exclaimed, walking into our huge suite.

"Pretty nice, isn't it?" I admired the space.

"Way nicer than the Super 8 I would have been staying at," Noah admitted.

"You would have stayed at a Super 8?" I asked, bewildered.

"Hell yeah. My mom would do anything to make us lay low," he explained.

My parents always wanted the best for me. The best agent, clothes, stylists, house, hotels, you name it. Sometimes I just wanted parents that let me live like a normal fourteen year old girl, and not a celebrity.

"So, there's only one bed because I couldn't book a different room because everyone  is staying here for fashion week and-" I rambled.

"Millie, it's fine," he sighed, "I can just sleep on the couch."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, it'd be way better than sleeping on a hard mattress with crusty sheets anyway."

I giggled, throwing my duffle bag onto my bed and pulling out my outfit for the show and hanging it up in the closet. Ding!

I pulled my phone out of my pocket, seeing a text from Finn.

Finnie🎸: hey Millie, how's New York?

Me: good so far, Noah's just excited to not be sleeping at a Super 8

Finnie🎸: haha

I closed my phone, and put away my other outfits in my closet. I placed my makeup and overnight bags on the counter in the bathroom. Ding!
