Finn's POV:

Oh my God.

She kissed me.

Yeah, it was just on the cheek but Millie kissed me.

What the fuck?

I sat there in the blanket fort, trying not to express my shock as the camera moved in on us for another short and sweet Mileven scene. I didn't read the script until this morning, so I didn't really know what was going to happen, but I knew there was water involved.

"What is," El paused looking up at Mike who was sitting opposite her, "rain?"

"Oh," Mike replied, chuckling slightly, "It's when tiny drops of water fall from those clouds outside," he said, gesturing to the black clouds through the window.

El's eyes followed his finger, and she squinted her eyes, focusing in on the sky.

"Are those clouds going to rain?" she asked Mike, eyes going wide as she watched the changing sky.

"I mean yeah, probably," Mike answered with a smile, and then turned his head back to face Eleven. He looked at her, pride for her displayed on his face.

"Hey, do you remember when we found you in the woods that night when we were looking for Will?" Mike asked.

El nodded her head yes.

"Okay, well do you remember how that stuff was falling out of the sky on you that made you wet?" he asked.

"Yes," she replied.

"That's rain," he finished, watched a wave of realization move over her as she put two and two together.

"Oh, so that's what's going on right now?" she questioned, and Mike nodded happily.

"Well, not now, but if you just wait..." he trailed off, and they sat in silence, listening.

Heavy drops began to hit the roof of the Wheeler house, and El snapped her head up, as did Mike at her sudden action.

"Rain?" she asked, huge eyes looking into Mike's desperately.

"Yes! Want to go see it?" he offered, to which El frantically shook her head up and down excitedly.

Mike took El's dainty hand in his, and the couple ran up the stairs and out the front door. El let go of Mike, and ran out into the street.

"RAIN!" she screamed to the sky, and it poured and poured down on her. Mike watched from the porch as El flailed around the cul-de-sac, jumping in puddles and kicking water every which way.

"Come on!" she yelled over at Mike, who rolled his eyes at her.

"Please?" she dragged out, making her eyes big.

"Fine," he gave in, running out onto the pavement. El giggled at the sight of Mike gawking around like she was.

Mike came up from behind El, grabbed her by her waist and spun her around to face him. He held her gently on her back, and she brought her hands up to the back of his neck. The couple moved slowly to the rhythm of the pouring water, Mike smirking while El blushed bashfully.

They both dropped their goofy personas when Mike began to close the space between their lips. He watched as her eyes glanced down at his lips, and then back at his eyes.

Mike started leaning in, and El slowly raised up onto her tippy-toes. Their noses grazed each other, followed by their lips, which then smashed together.
