Millie's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm.

"Oh shut the fuck up," I mumbled to no one in particular, crawling out of bed.

Who would have thought chimes could make me so aggravated...

"NOAH!" I yelled out my open door, "WE GOTTA GET READY!"

I heard a loud thump come from the living room, and stepped out of the bedroom, a scrambling Noah laying confused on the carpet.

"Oh my God! Are you okay?" I half-shrieked, running over to the couch.

"Uh..Um..Where am I?" he murmured, "What's going on?"

"I think you fell off the couch," I stated, and he still looked confused, "You know, where you slept last night."

I pursed my lips, watching as he remembered where he was.

"Oh.." Noah scratched his head, then stood up to yawn.

"Alright, we have to be out of here by 10:45, because checkout time is eleven," I informed the half awake boy in front of me.

"Ok, calm down, mom," he lengthened out that last word, and I returned an eye roll, jutting my hip out to the side.

An alert went off on my phone: Emmys fitting tomorrow!

"And hey, good morning," Noah smiled without teeth, opening his arms.

I closed off my phone and stepped forward into the hug. "Good morning," I mumbled into his shoulder.

We lingered in the moment, the sunlight filtering through the bay window, a city scape of New York surrounding us.

A call on our room's phone brought me back to reality, and I immediately released from Noah's grasp, speed walking over to the phone.

"Hello?" I picked up.

"Hello. Is this Miss Brown?" a man asked.

"It depends. Who wants to know?" I asked, being sly.

"Mr. Greene," he answered. My agent.

"Then yes, yes it is her," I informed the man.

"Mr. Greene is waiting in the lobby. He would like to meet you for brunch, just the two of you as soon as possible," I listened to the voice on the other end of the line.

"Okay. Thank you!" I said graciously, "Goodbye now."

I hung up the phone, and turned back to face Noah.

"Who was it?" Noah asked curiously.

"Front desk. My agent wants to meet me for brunch," I explained.

"Oh," Noah realized.

"And he wants it to be just the two of us, so you'll have to wait here," I went on.

"Okay, that's fine. It must be important," he reasoned, and I gave him a sad smile.

"I'm going to go get ready," I announced, turning and closing the bedroom door.

I threw on my light blue pullover and some black jeans. I put on some athletic socks and slipped on my Adidas slides. I grabbed my phone and wallet, and came out of the bedroom.

I waved Noah a quick goodbye, and headed out the door. I walked down the hallway to the elevator, and pressed the down arrow button. Ding! I stepped into the elevator, and pressed the 'main' button. The elevator went down, and came to a stop. The doors opened, and I exited the confined space, taking in the huge lobby surrounding me.
