"Summer break is fast approaching. But of course, it stands to reason none of you have enough leeway to just relax."

That's right! Aizawa said that we'd be going on a trip this summer for training! Maybe that's what he's going on about?

"We'll be going to a summer break forest lodge."

I hit it right on the nail. Everyone got hype and started listing things they were excited for. I, for one, am excited about spending another trip with Hitoshi. For granted, the camping trip wasn't exactly fabulous. I smelt bad most of the time and when we did take baths, I had to plummet myself into a lake and use soap. As if it did anything to get rid of the lake water filth.

"However, should any of you fall short of a passing grade for the End-of-term test, then you're stuck in school. In remedial hell."

That shouldn't really be a problem for me, at least I hope not. My grades are decent and I'm getting better at combat. At least I'm not last in the class.

(Timeskip)

It was one week before the end of term exams and everyone was in full panic mode. Well at least most of us were. We took a test last week to analyze where we were for the written portion and what we needed to work on. Needless to say, many weren't proud of their class results. And with the clock ticking, many were freaking out about their lack of studying.

"What did you place?"

Hitoshi nudged me as we walked to the roof of the school to eat our lunch.

"Fifth out of twenty-two. It's not perfect but I'm definitely satisfied with my results. How about you?"

He smirked and I already knew he got better than me, after all, he's pretty much a genius.

"Second."

I groaned and sluggishly walked up the stairs.

"You literally just got in this class like four weeks ago and you're already doing better than most of us!"

"Don't mind me, sweetheart, it's always been like this for me."

"What? You've always been a genius?"

He smiled and I couldn't help but smile too as we sat against the cool metal gate of the roof. I opened my bento box and pulled out my hamburger and took a big bite. Hitoshi laughed quietly as he removed the lid of his, revealing rice and chicken.

"Are you ready for the exam?"

I questioned in between bites, he merely just shrugged.

"I guess I am, I'm concerned about the physical portion though. If its student against student, they already know how I work, at least those who were watching the festival closely. If it's teacher against student, it shouldn't be so bad."

"Yeah, that makes sense. I'm not sure if I'm ready either. My combat has improved and so has my endurance but I guess it depends what we're up against."

"Yeah."

We ate in silence for a few minutes, purely enjoying our time alone in each others company. The two of us stuck our bento's in our bags and leaned against each other. The slight breeze made his hair flow a bit and tickle my face.

"This is nice. Just being here you know?"

I felt him nod against my head and watched as he put his warm hand on my thigh.

"I really like spending time with you Charlie, I wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for you."

I smiled and place my hand on top of his.

"Awh that's sweet."

He lifted his head and turned to look at me. I looked back at him and felt my breath hitch once he placed his hand on my cheek. He moved in and softly kissed me before pulling away and resting his forehead on my shoulder. I rubbed the side of his arm as we sat in silence.

"I really like you."

I felt myself laugh, in turn, he tensed up and looked at me again.

"No, I mean it. I really like you."

"I know Toshi, I don't doubt it. But you want to know something?"

I started to stand up and he did too, we both knew the bell was going to ring soon and class would start so it's better to get there early.

"What?"

He found my hand and held it tightly in his as we walked to class.

"I love you!"

He froze and pulled my hand back to stop me from walking.

"What's wrong?"

A large smile appeared on his face as he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but giggle as I wrapped my arms around his torso.

"I love you too sweetness."

He pulled away and placed a quick peck on my forehead and walked back to class hand in hand. From outside the door, we could hear their voices talking loudly, we both walked in and made our way to our seats.

"Who cares if it's people or robots, it's all the same when they're blown away. Walk in the park my a**."

"Wait, we're going up against robots?"

I looked over to Hitoshi who seemed to be thinking the same thing that I was. He stiffened and I watched as he tightened his grip on his desk. This is going to be difficult for him to pass, now it's him vs. a chunk of metal. Hopefully, he's strong enough to be able to fight it head-on. Katsuki walked up to Izuku with anger evident in his facial expression.

"I dunno if you've come to understand a little how to use your quirk. But you're really trying my Godd*** nerves, s*itrag."

Is he talking about how Izuku replicated his moves during heroics a week ago?

"Let me tell you right now, I don't want the same hollow a** result as the d*mn Sports Festival! By the end of next term, we'll see by our grades just who the better man is...whether you like it or not! I'll annihilate you, leave you in the dust with the gap between us and then I'll f*cking murder you!"

He turned to Shoto and I sitting in our seats.

"And you too Todoroki! And you princess!!"

He turned on his heel and walked out of the classroom, slamming the door closed in the process. What the heck was that?!
