Zacchary

The smoothness of her hair is so familiar; it's like her mom's.

"Dad."my little champ called out so I transferred to his bed. "Your eyes look sad, daddy."he commented.

Napangiti ako ng mapakla sa komento niya. Parang ang tanda na ng anak ko. He's only five years old pero heto siya, he talks like he's on someone else's soul. Chances would adore her little man if only she was here.

"Daddy's fine, champ. Why are you awake? Did you dream of something?"I asked him to divert the subject.

"Yeah. I saw mommy. She looks so beautiful dad with that tulips on her ear. She's like an angel. She was smiling."Kwento niyang nagpalakas ng kabog ng dibdib ko. Is this a sign? "She looked really happy, dad. I hope she's really happy in Heaven now."

"She is happy, Zacc. She is. You tell her that daddy loves her, okay?"

"Sure thing, dad. She actually whispered to me that she loves you, dad. Mom was laughing in my dreams. Chance and I were with her. She seemed real."

She's real, baby.

There's one that Mirana and mom affirmed she'd painted six years ago.

"Wait. This looks—"I exclaimed and stopped as I gasped for air.

This is so unreal! Chances painted the park! She painted it six years ago and this park was only opened to public about 4-5 years ago. These are all my signs. Babalik si Chances. Kung paano man, wala akong pakialam. Ang mahalaga, babalik siya.

I went to visit our main branch of Coffee Chances with little Zacc.

"Champ, are you okay?" I asked which made him rub his eyes as if he's seeing something unbelievable. "Zacc? Anak, what's the matter?"

"Dad?"He looked up to me innocently. "Is it possible for me to see mom?"

"Hmm." Tumingkayad ako para lumebel sa kanya. "Champ, sometimes, I would see her face in the crowd."

"If it wasn't mom, she should at least be her sister." He mumbled meekly and even massaged his temples as if he's a grown up. "She looks really like mom."

I had a short talk with my marketing director when I got in. Everything's fine with our coffee shops. There are businessmen from Mindanao who'd like to franchise. Somehow, I felt proud. I've made it. But I know, she'd be so proud.

"Zacc, let's talk."Mirana said when she got in my office.

"I saw baby Zacc and he told me he saw his mom. Is this your influence?

"Stop accusing me Mirana. Wala kang alam."I replied to shut her up.

"Then let me know!"

Napakuyom ako ng palad. I don't want to be mad at her. Kaya kahit naiinis ako, nagtimpi ako. I heaved a deep breath before facing her.
