*October 26th 2024/Floor 50: Algade/Mordred's POV*

As I sat in my chair in my apartment, I was getting a call from Kirito.

"Hey Kirito what's up?" I asked him.

"We need you to come to Floor 22 immediately," he told me.

"Alright I'm on my way," I told him changing into my gear and heading down to Floor 22.

Going to the location Kirito sent me, it was a log cabin. Knocking on the door it was answered by Kirito.

"Alright so what's the problem?" I asked him.

"Who's this daddy?" a little girl asked him.

"Did she just call you daddy?" I asked Kirito.

"Yui this is Mordred, he's a friend, well more like an older brother," he told her.

"Brother...Uncle Mordred!" she exclaimed hugging me.

"Oh Mordred you're here, I see you've already met Yui," Asuna smiled.

"Yeah," I confirmed patting the little one on her head. "Well breakfast is ready, are you hungry Mordred?" she asked me.

"Not at all," I told her.

"Well take your shoes off and stay awhile," she told me.

"Sure thing," I complied changing into my casual clothes.

As Kirito went over the latest reports from the scouting team, while eating his sandwich, Yui was looking at him in awe. Moving the arm with his sandwich, Yui followed with her eyes.

"I don't know Yui it's pretty spicy," Kirito told her.

"I want whaty daddy has," she smiled.

"Alright if you think you can handle it, go ahead," he smiled handing her a spicy sandwich.

Taking a bite out of it, she seemed perfectly fine.

"I like it," she smiled.

"Wow you got an iron stomach kid," I pointed out.

"Maybe tonight we can go all out on spicey food," Kirito told her.

"Okay let's settle down I'm not cooking anything nuclear," Asuna stated.

"I can," I jested.

"Don't listen to him, Yui he's a bad influence on young children," Asuna told her.

"I am not!" I objected causing Yui to giggle before yawning.

Setting her down in one of the chairs, she fell right to sleep.

"So I imagine your concern is Yui?" I asked.

"Yes. When we found her there was no cursor next to her health bar, and she has no memory of what occured before we found her in the forest," Kirito explained.

"It's like she's a baby again. I don't know what we should do," Asuna told me.

"When she wakes up let's head down to the Town of Beginnings where all the other children players are, see if anything there can jog a memory or two," I suggested.

"Not a bad idea," Kirito stated.

"Okay that's what we'll do," Asuna smiled.

"Mommy, daddy," Yui smiled as she slept.

"This is anice place you got here by the way," I told them.

"Yeah, but now we're flat broke," Kirito laughed.
