When a waitress finds herself cleaning up after a little girl's spilled drink, she never expected to gain the attention of her hot, sexy, daddy dearest.

"Does the fact I got a kid, fuck up my chances with you?"

Oh no, it did nothing of the sort.

"Marley," he groaned against my neck when I detached our lips, needing to breathe.

"Let's take this to my room," I said, cupping him through his jeans. "I have a nosey neighbor and I don't want her to see what I'm about to do to you."

Serving things was supposed to be Marley's job, but now someone else is doing that, in the form of custody papers, and it's got Joel out for blood.

"Don't be ridiculous, Joel," the older woman scoffed. "I saw your truck as I was driving by, figured I'd see if you had my granddaughter with you. That's all."

"I don't have time for your bullshit," he sighed, running a hand through his cropped black hair. "Just stay away from my daughter."

"She's more mine than yours," the woman jabbed, and I watched as his fists clenched.

"Don't," he warned, glaring at her. "Don't you fucking dare start that shit with me."

With all that's going on in his life, can he handle a new woman? More specifically, the one that's got him itching to touch every inch of her body?

"Damn, you're good with your hands," I breathed out when he pulled his thick fingers out of me, finally letting me come back down to earth.

"I'm a carpenter, darling. It's my job to be good with them," he smirked against my chest, trailing a rough finger down my spine. "But, I'm not done with you, yet."
