- Next day -
~ Hangli POV ~
I got ready for school. Last night I put Lucas to sleep. I convinced him not to go to school, rehearsal either. He should get better before going back to that stuff again.
- At school -
I was with my group of friends, Chan and them. Then, Chan asked me a question.
"Where is Lucas?"
"He's at home..." I said.
"Why? We have rehearsals!" he kinda yelled.
"I-I know... He isn't feeling his best..." I bit my bottom lip.
"OH REALLY?!?" Chan yelled.
I nodded.
"Hyung, calm down..." Felix held Chan back.
"NO! He begged me for a role in the play! And now he just decides to not show up! Doesn't he know that it doesn't matter if he's sick or not?!? This is what actors do! I thought he wanted to become an actor!" Chan spat at my face.
"Chan, please, calm down..." Hyunjin stepped in.
"Get off of me!" Chan pushed the boys off of him.
Chan walked up to me, his face close to mine.
"I don't care if I'm his cousin. If he acts unprofessional again tomorrow, I'm replacing him. Tell him that." Chan spoke through gritted teeth.
Chan walked away. Why is he acting like this..?
"Sorry Hangli... Last night... his girlfriend broke up with him..." Jeongin whispered to me.
"Oh... he had a girlfriend?" I asked.
I'm surprised that he has a girlfriend. Or should I say... 'Had'? Why was I not informed.
"Don't worry. He didn't tell any of us either..." Changbin said.
I nodded.
What a great way to start the school day, am I right? No... I'm not right....
