So yes, I've fallen in love with this bean. Enjoy.

My boyfriend, Colin, was busy. Too busy, if you ask me. He had been working day and night on some assignments he needed to catch up on. If you asked me again, I would've told you that he was working too hard on them. The tired boy needed some rest. But he wouldn't listen to me. It was minor stuff for class too! Nothing too big that he needed to work himself hard on.

I got up from my bed, putting my phone down and walking over to my desk where Colin sat. He was hunched over some papers, scribbling away at things. I leaned over his shoulder to see what he was working on. It didn't take me long to try and close his notebook and take his pencil out of his hand.

He snatched it right back and continued working. "Sorry, (Y/N). Mrs. Burke wants this English essay finished by Thursday, and I'm not even halfway done yet. I haven't even gotten my main ideas written down either! I'm just writing as my brain thinks."

"Then what've you been working on this whole time?"

"Biology and Calculus." he told me, not looking up from his paper. "Both mind killers."

"You got that right." I agreed with him. "But you need to rest, Colin. You've been working yourself too hard. Plus, I want cuddles."

Colin FINALLY turned away from his work, and pulled me down for a kiss. "I'll give you some. But let me finish this first."

I groaned. "Colin. You're not going to finish that today. Stop trying to bite off more than you can chew."

Colin kept scribbling away, and I groaned in annoyance. "Fine then."

I poked his side, causing him to flinch away. "Hey, stop." he whined, waving at me dismissively.

I poked him again. "Come on, Colin. I'm bored and I want cuddles."

"Aah. No. Stop." he repeated. "Let me finish this!"

I continued poking him, ignoring him. I didn't care how long it would take him, he needed to de-stress and relax a bit. And how're some cuddles not a great de-stressor?

"I'm not going to stop poking you until you give me some attention." I remarked, jabbing at his side even more.

Colin sighed and put his pencil down, finally getting out of the chair he'd been sitting in for the past 3 hours and turning to me. "Fine, I'll cuddle with you if it means so much to you."

I smiled and hugged him, looking up at him. He looked down at me with a grin of his own, kissing me on my forehead.

"That wasn't so bad now, was it?" I said, laying my head on his chest.

"Hmmm, I don't know. Can you show me what's so great about it?" he replied. You could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

I scrunched my face and looked up at him again, pulling him down for a kiss. I ran my fingers through his hair, feeling shivers coming from him. When I pulled away, he smiled and cupped my face.

"I love you." he told me.

I grinned back at him. "I love you too."

This is FINALLY published, after a few weeks of editing and changing and scrapping and restarting. I'm sort of happy with how it turned out, but I might rewrite it. Idk for sure. But I HAD to publish this, and I'll be off for a while now; I have an essay (that I planned on finishing over Thanksgiving break so I could work on the next part of the assignment on Monday, bur surprise surprise, I waited until Sunday to do it) to finish.

It was a bit shorter than I expected too, but eh.
