Sabina's POV- March 2018

Stevie, my bestfriend barged into my room just as I finished getting dress. I rolled my eyes at her as she proceeded to wolf whistle. I loved her to bits, but she could be a bit too much sometimes such as right now.

"You look hot!"

"You're supposed to be downstairs," I told her.

"I got bored"

"I don't have a doorbell" I reminded her.

"But you do have that weird buzzing thing"

As if on cue, we both heard a light buzz.

"Can you get that?" I asked her as I sat on the bed.

"But of course"

I still needed to put on my boots.

"Be nice to her" I called out.

"I'm always nice!"

Sure she was. Anyways, once the laces of my boots were tied, I grabbed my small purse and beanie.  As I walked downstairs, I heard a voice I did not recognize, most likely belonging to Lucy.

"And who might you be?"

"That is Salem" I said.

Looks like Salem was greeting the guest, and that was unusual because he did not do well with strangers. Somewhere among all the Buffalo Beauts videos was my apartment tour. Salem hissed and hid from the camera person the entire time, and actually made the final cut.

"Well, hello there Salem. Aren't you a handsome boy?"

"Hello" I greeted the pretty brunette

She smiled and stood up.

"Hi, I'm Lucy"

"Sabina," I said introducing myself.

She was gorgeous.

"These are for you, from Adrian"

I accepted the bouquet of assorted roses; pink, white and red.

"Did you have any trouble finding the place?" I asked.

"Kinda, which is why I came a little early"

That makes sense.

"I like your jacket, you will certainly be nice and toasty"

"Thank you, I like your boots" I complimented.

A laugh escaped her lips when she noticed we were both wearing the same exact pair of brown doc Marten brown boots.

"I'm not used to the cold"

Stevie snorted as she placed a vase on the countertop.

"Neither is Sabs, and she played hockey"

"It doesn't get cold in California" I defended.

"It just gets less hot"

I nodded agreeing with Lucy's statement.

"Were you expecting anyone?" I asked Stevie a buzzing sound was heard.

She smiled.

"The delivery man, I ordered wings"

Once she was gone, Lucy looked at me.

"Let me put these roses in a vase, and then we can head out" I suggested.

"Of course, take your time"

She stayed in the living room, pampering Salem with attention as I went to put the roses in a vase.
