"Why are you so cheery?" Ray asks as I sigh dreamily, thinking about Austin again. "Nothing." I dismiss her with a wave of my hand and then continue to stare at the wall like I was having eye-sex with it.

I couldn't help but replay the scene at the school garden during lunch break in my head a bunch of times. We walk back to class hand in hand but I immediately let go of his hand when I saw Katie waving her hand at me. I couldn't bare to let people see that I was dating Austin - well at least not now.

He was a little hurt by my action but caught on when I nudged my head towards Katie's direction. We both knew that we couldn't let people know our little secret just yet because you know how gossip travels around these days.

"You are grinning from ear to ear and you have this lovestruck look in your eyes. It's sort of disturbing." She cringes and took a seat next to me. Alyssa is absent today and I kinda miss her puns and jokes even though she annoys the hell out of me with them.

I shrug. "I don't know. Have you ever felt like somehow, everything in your life finally falls into place? Like, everything that should happen is happening." I ask my best friend. I can see imaginary question marks floating around her head when she gives me a blank stare.

"Never mind then." I mumble to myself. After a few attempts, Ray gives up on making me spilling out the truth and leaves me be. I see Zach coming into the class with the teacher behind him.

Fucking hell, I curse in my mind. Not this woman again.

It was Miss Cox's class and I couldn't help but start wondering whether did I do her homework. I open my book and see that I did a few questions but not all of them. At least my work looks decent enough.

While I was trying to concentrate in class, Zach leans in and scribbles on the side of my book: You seemed cheery. I bite my lip and write back on the side of his book: So I have been told.

I give up on studying today because I know that nothing is going into my mind. Let me guess... something amazing has happened. - Z I finger gun him, not really going to tell him anything. I told Austin that I would keep my mouth shut so I am going to do just that.

When I didn't reply him, he takes out a rough paper from my bag - because everyone knows I keep loads of rough paper just in case I need it to draw or do Maths, sometimes they ask me for one too - and start to write something.

He slides the paper across the desk to let me have a glance after he was done writing. Cut the shit, I already know what happened, it reads. I raise an eyebrow at the note, snicker when I realise his game plan and then write back to him.

I know what you are playing at, Z. I'm not going to tell you anything. - P

I slide the paper back to him. After he scans through it, he writes a few words down and gives it to me.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Austin and you. - Z

He didn't elaborate but judging by that smirking face, I know that he knows about the current situation - relationship, I guess - that me and Austin have right now.

He told you?? - P

Austin told me that he wouldn't tell anyone else about our relationship unless we both finally came into an agreement. I make a mental note to ask him about this later. God, just because Zach is your mentor in badminton doesn't mean you need to tell him everything that is happening in your daily life, I mentally scold Austin.

He asked me on how to steal a girl's heart and I just had to ask him whose heart is he trying to steal. He finally spilled that it was you. He didn't tell me that he confessed or anything but I took a wild guess. Apparently, I was right - Z
