I have been dreading this day all week. Today is Friday, the day of my Grandpas funeral. I got to miss school for the funeral. We were leaving around 12 pm to go to the church. It was 10 o'clock now.

I had just gotten up so I went to take a shower. When I got out I went to my room, found my ear buds and watched some Pretty Little Liars.

It was getting really scary because Emily, Spencer, Hanna, and Aria were in a tunnel and Hanna had disappeared. I jumped when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took out my ear buds and paused the show.

"What's the matter with you???" I asked Justin as I slapped him playfully.

"Nothing." he said smiling. "I just thought it would be funny to scare you. Plus we need to start getting ready. it's like 11 o'clock."

I looked down. I didn't want to go. I wished that my grandpa was still here.

"Hey." Justin lifted my chin up to make me look at him. "Its going to be okay. I will be here for you. Always. Okay?"

I nodded my head. "Okay."

We got up and got ready. When we were finished it was 11:55 am. I drove to the church because Justin didn't know where it was.

We walked in the small chapel and I saw my grandma. I ran over there as fast as I could and hugged her.

"I'm so sorry grandma." I said afterwards.

I talked to some family and my mom introduced me to some of my Grandpa's family that I've never met and after that we took our seats and it started.

My Pastor, Dr. Dollar, went up and said a few words then my Uncle Doug and Aunt Donna went up and made a speech.

Dr. Dollar came back up and talked about him.

"He loved all of his Grandchildren so much. There was one story that stuck with me and that I thought was so funny. His two grand daughters had a yellow jeep that they would ride around in while he followed behind. They kept getting fast and faster and he had told them to slow down so he could talk to them but they wouldn't so he bought a couple of walkie talkies and he would give them one so he could talk to them and they would answer."

I knew that he was talking about Ryen and me.

After the stories they played When I Get to Where I'm Going by Brad Paisley and Imagine by Mercy Me.

I started crying and turned my head into his shoulder. I dried my eyes as best as I could so I could see and turned to look and Ryen, who had her face hidden in her moms shoulder.

The funeral was finally over after some guys handed a folded up flag to my grandma. I ran to the bathroom to wash my face.

Justin met me outside the bathroom and we went to eat in the church gym.
