Chapter 37: Sleepover!!

Kaitlyn came out of the dressing room.

"Who was that?" she asked pointing to Austen who was looking back at me every couple of seconds as he walked out.

"An old high school friend." I smiled.

"Ooooooo someone has a crush!!!"

"Shut up it won't happen. Besides, hes probably still dating the girl that told me to stop talking to him."

After those messages his girlfriend sent me, i never talked to him again and i avoided him in the hallways at school.

"Oh yeah. Well i dont think he does, not with the way he was staring at you as he walked out the door."

I was speechless. Was he really staring at me like that??

We left the mall and went to Walmart to buy junk food and movies.

When we got to the house and got everything set up in the theater room, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it!!" I say as I put the popcorn bowl down in my seat.

"Don't add any candy until I get back!!!" I glare at Kaitlyn.

I open the door to see Lexi with a suitcase. She too was wearing pjs.

"Lexi?!?!?!?! I haven't seen you since graduation!!!!!!" I wrap her in a hug. "How'd you get here?!"

"Kaitlyn called and told me what happened and that she needed help getting you out of that room. So I told Bryanne to buy me a plane ticket to Miami, and here I am!" She laughed.

"By the way, nice pajamas!" She said about my pink Snoopy and Woodstock capri pj pants and gray tank top. Kaitlyn had purple Tweety bird pj pants on with a Demi Lovato tshirt.

"Thanks!!"

I invited her in and let her get settled. The house had 1 master bedroom and 2 nicely sized rooms. It also had a studio, a theater, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms.

I had taken the Master bedroom, of course, and Kaitlyn took one of the other rooms. We turned the extra room into a guest bedroom/ library. All the rooms were upstairs, except the theater room which was next to the living room.

"So what are we watching?" Lexi asked walking downstairs. Kaitlyn and I were getting another sleeping bag and pillow for Lexi.

"Um I don't know. How about you pick. Best thing about being famous, I get the movies that are playing in theaters." I laughed.

"How about Carrie?"

"Okay!"

We put the movie on and got settled passing the popcorn and candy around. We watched a couple more movies before Kaitlyn and Lexi passed out.

I was still half awake trying to watch The Host when my phone vibrated.

Austen: Hey :)

Me: Hey. What are you doing up at 3 o'clock am?

Austen: Thinking about you, and how you stopped talking to me out of the blue.

Me: Yeah well you can thank your girlfriend for that. Wait aren't yall still dating?

Austen: No, I dumped her before school was out.

Me: Oh

Austen: I have a question for you.

Me: Alright go

Austen: Can we start over? I don't mean totally over, I just mean act like we never stopped talking. I miss my best friend. :)

Me: Of course! But can we start tomorrow? I'm about to pass out.
Austen: Yeah sure:) Goodnight.

I typed 'Goodnight' and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.
