Chapter 33: Sign The Paper!!

*2 weeks later*

I laid in bed not believing what was gonna happen today. I was getting signed to Justin's record label.

Justin was right next to me, shirt off and sweats on. He was really warm and I was freezing so I cuddled into him more as I possibly could.

I had my face in the crook of his neck. He smelt so good. Scooter was coming into town around 2 so we were leaving around 12 to go set up and wait for everyone to get there. Scooter was also bringing the "suprise guest" and i still had no clue who it is.

Pattie came for the funeral and stayed in a hotel about 2 miles away. I checked my phone, 10:45. With a jolt i jumped over Justin and jumped in the shower.

I wore a sheer pink cheetah print long sleeved shirt, skinny jeans and a pair of dark brown leather boots Justin bought me in Atlanta.

I walked out of the bathroom and into my room. Justin was looking through his suitcase.

"I just can't decide what to wear," he said looking up at me. "Do you like me better in a polo or button-down?" I knew he was quoting TFIOS so I said.

"Button-down."

Justin laughed and nodded.

Instead of wearing a button down, he wore a black tshirt with a blue jean/ black leather jacket with black studs on both shoulders, dark jeans and black supras with gold lining and to top it all off his gold chain.

I did my makeup and brushed my teeth. I straightened my hair and clipped some of it back.

My mom, dad, Izzy, and Colby
were already at my grandmothers house setting up. So me and Justin got in my car and left.

When we got to the house, there was a blueish silver car parked in the yard. Along with my moms car, my sisters car, Justin's (my youth minister) car, and a few others. We walked up to the porch.

Scooter was already there and Avalanna with in his arms. Her parents stood next to him.

Colby ran over to me and I picked him up and held him.

"Justin!" Avalanna yelled.

"Av!!" Justin said walking over to her.

"Sophie this is Avalanna Routh. I'm assuming you know her." He smiled.

I smiled back nodding. "Yes! Awe you're so freaking cute!"

We all talked and hung out for awhile and ate until everyone got there.

Then Scooter stood up on a chair and yelled, "Alright. We are here to celebrate this girl right here, for never giving up on her dreams and for her beautiful voice that everyone will soon hear." Everyone clapped and shouted, while I just smiled.

I was so nervous about getting signed. My palms were getting sweaty, I wiped them on my jeans.

Justin gave me a kiss on the cheek and put his arm around me. He had set Avalanna down and she was playing with Colby.

Scooter got down off the chair and we all walked over to a table with a couple chairs. I sat down along with Justin as Scooter placed a white sheet in front of me. Justin handed me a pen.

I took it. I breathed in and out slowly, trying to calm my nerves.

"Hey you can do this. I believe in you."

I nodded, just staring at the page.

"No I mean it. So take that pen and write your beautiful signature."

"It's not tha-"

"SIGN THE PAPER!!" Everyone yelled cutting me off.

"Alright. Alright, yeesh." I said signing my name, Sophia Mercer, at the bottom.

Everyone clapped and cheered.

"I am proud to announce Sophie Mercer as my new artist!!!" Scooter shouted.

The claps and cheer only got louder.

"LETS GET SOME CAKE!" My Youth minister yelled.

"Okay fatty." I said making everyone laugh.

"You're supposed to call me by my street name, J Money."

"Oh yeah I almost forgot."

"What are yall talking about?" Justin asked coming up behind me and snaking his arm around my waist.

"Last summer we were at church camp in North Carolina and we were walking to either lunch or dinner, I can't remember. Anyways He was talking about how you were allergic to shirts and the only way that you could be able to wear them was to get more tattoos, and then he was like 'yeah I know the Biebs we're like bffs.' and I said 'really?' and he said 'yeah I'll hook yall up sometime and call him up and be like 'Yo J Biebs, it's your bro J Money here and I got my girl J Mercer here and she wants to meet you.' And we all started laughing."

"Yeah I guess I don't need to hook yall up anymore because..." Justin said motioning to his arm around my waist.

For the rest of the party friends and family came up to me and congratulated me, told embarrassing stories about me and we all ate and had so much fun.

Avalanna clung on to Justin before they had to leave.

We never saw her again.

I just had to add Av in there. I can't believe it's been 2 years since her passing. We will never forget her and her beautiful smile. Anyways hope you enjoyed this chapter. 😘😘😘😘
