To whom who thought Katherine Pierce was bad, they hadn't met Mallory. Mallory Salvatore, formerly known as Mallory Montague, had everyone around her fooled into thinking she was some sweet, innocent girl when in reality, she was quite the opposite. She had a disregard for human life and would betray anyone if they weren't someone she considered family. The only ones she considered family was her adopted brothers Stefan and Damon, her former best friend Pearl, and Pearl's daughter, Annabelle, both of whom she had turned herself.

Mallory was the master manipulator whether anyone wanted to believe it was the truth or not. When arriving in Mystic Falls with Stefan, she had everyone believing she was the new girl who tried her best to stay out of trouble. Even Stefan was fooled, thinking that she was just there to stay by his side, when really, she was in Mystic Falls for the same reason as Damon, to open the tomb. While Damon was trying to release Katherine, Mallory was trying to help get Pearl out.

She had fallen in love numerous times during the many centuries she had been alive, she never refrained herself from loving another like Katherine Pierce. That was what made the two different. But after nearly being placed in the tomb with the rest of the Mystic Falls vampires in 1864 after mistakenly falling in love with a Lockwood werewolf, she had vowed to not make the same mistake again. Her vow was broken when she arrived back in Mystic Falls with her brother, only to share a bond with Jeremy Gilbert, a human boy. The same human boy whose blood she was planning to give to her best friend to revive her. Mallory tries her hardest to refrain from her feelings, but all hell breaks loose when she is deemed unsuccessful.
