After dinner, the Weasley children went off to do their own things whilst Catina stayed in the presence of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. The girl was rather intrigued by the latter and couldn't help but throw many questions his way which amused the two men who chuckled as she rambled on.

"So, how did he get away? Pettigrew that is," she asked after Sirius explained the actual events of October 31st 1981 to her. "Surely if he was an animagi it would be clear as to how he got away. It doesn't make sense!"

Sirius smirked, "that is where you are wrong. We are unregistered so that we could help Remus on his monthly excursion to the shrieking shack. So nobody would believe me or Remus for that matter if we told them about him escaping as a rat."

"What a prick!" Exclaimed Catina, shaking her head, "you never betray friends like that no matter what. If Lulu, Prop or Cas were in trouble I would die for them in a heartbeat. To hand them over on a plate is nothing but a cowardly job and he should rot in hell!"

Remus placed a hand on her shoulder as she grew angrier and angrier. He was well aware of the temper that she behold, suppressed deep down until a switch was flicked and it burst from her. Catina untensed as her former teacher stopped her from erupting like he had done before during his time at Hogwarts when she was irked by a fellow student, Zacharias Smith who loved to torment and belittle any girl he could lay his eyes on.

Sirius chuckled and watched as Remus offered her some chocolate as she settled back in her seat. "Sorry," she muttered, heat rising to her cheeks, sometimes her anger was uncontrollable but most of the time she could tame it, however, there were episodes where it controlled her like a puppet on its strings.

Sirius brushed it off and turned to the ragged house-elf, Kreacher, who was titivating around the room muttering incoherently to himself. "If you have nothing nice or of value to say then don't say anything at all!" He spat pushing him towards the door. "He didn't mean any of that Catina."

Catina looked at him unaware of what had been said, "I didn't hear anything so don't worry about it, darling. And call me Cat."

Sirius noted her request and got up as Molly called him. This left Remus and Catina on their own, along with Juno who seemed to like prowling around the unfamiliar territory and nosying in every nook and cranny. "How have you been, Cat?" Asked Remus who took a gulp of his coffee.

"Meh, nothing far from the usual. Yourself?"

Remus nodded, "Back to how it was prior to teaching but I'm coping. Your foster parents, did they still treat you well?"

"When I was with them, yes. I still don't understand how it isn't safe for me to be with them. They're the best ones I have had so far! The ones before that didn't like magic whatsoever, and my newer ones did, even though they didn't understand it all they tried their best to."
