A few days later Becky and Stephen had arrived in Ireland the doctor agreed to let Stephen travel back to his and Becky's homes if he started a bit of rehab back in the states which Stephen happily accepted. They were slowly making there way through the airport as Stephen could only walk with crutches for the time being.
"Are you sure you don't want me to carry one of those bags becks?"
Stephen asked as he watched Becky roll there suitcases along the floor.
"Stephen it's fine honestly stop asking just you worry about yourself. They have wheels remember"
They both chuckled as they continued there way through the busy airport.
"So have you saw your mum yet ?"
Stephen asked as Becky kept looking and eventually laid eyes on her.
"There she is"
Becky pointed at an older women as a huge smile appeared on her face and began sprinting towards her mother when they eventually got close to one another the two of them immediately wrapped there arms around the other before eventually separating.
"You have no idea how great it is to see you again mum"
Becky said with a tear rolling down her cheek that her mother quickly dealt with.
"Oh stop it you you'll get me going. Now where is this silly man of yours"
Becky chuckled and as she finished she heard the clicking noises of Stephens crutches hitting the floor as he slowly approached them.
Becky's mother quickly approached him and wrapped her arms around his waist tightly as she hugged him which took Stephen by surprise.
"It's great to finally meet you Stephen"
Stephen smiled as he put an arm around her.
"It's great to finally meet you too ms Quinn"
The three of them quickly picked up any cases and headed off towards the car to head to there home for the next few days.
The trio finally made it to Becky's mums home and when they opened the door the duo were instantly attacked by a fury little creature.
"Susie"
Becky shouted as she lifted the dog off the ground Stephen just looked at her in awe as he made his way into the home and sat down on a sofa trying to relax which didn't last long when susie immediately jumped on him.
"Hello susie it's nice to meet you too"
Becky and her mum laughed as they sat down around him. Becky instantly rested her head on Stephens shoulder.
"So what brings you two to Ireland? Becky's never introduced me to a boyfriend before"
Becky's cheeks instantly reddened as she stared at her mother embarrassed.
"What about Finn ?"
Stephen asked curiously and Becky instantly slapped his arm and glared at him.
"I've met finn lots of times but I knew they were better off as friends. There wasn't a connection there like the one I see between you two"
Becky and Stephen looked at each other and began smiling.
"To answer your question mum. Stephen choose to come back home to see our families and do his rehab out here"
Becky's mum nodded and eventually left the room and headed out to collect some food Stephen quickly out his arm around Becky as she cuddled into him while susie laid asleep in his lap. The silence was comfortable for a while before Stephen spoke.
"I'm sorry I missed your big moment becks. I'm sorry that I ruined your big moment too"
Becky looked up at him but Stephen was unable to look at her too upset with himself. She quickly grabbed his chin gently and turned him to face her.
"You can't blame yourself for that big guy it was out of your control you didn't know that would happen"
"Let's watch it now? I want to see you hand Ronda her first loss."
Becky smiled and kissed his cheek as she turned the tv on and put the pay per view on
And skipped through until they made it to the end of Stephens match and both watched on at the horrors that took place two months again. Becky watched Stephen closely as he never took his eyes off the tv.
"I never should've took my eyes off him. Shawn told me himself hours beforehand and i didn't listen"
Becky didn't respond she just held Stephens hand and began rubbing it with her thumb for comfort. They finally made it to Becky's match and watched on as she made her entrance he could tell just by looking at her on the screen she wasn't herself.40 minutes later
Stephen watched on carefully fully concentrating on the tv as Becky and Ronda battled. It was reaching the end of the match when Becky used Stephens finisher and pinned Ronda for the win. Stephen was shocked and looked down at Becky who was smiling back looking up at him.
"You used my move for the win"
Stephen asked unable to take the smile off his face.
"I won that match because of you big guy"
Stephen and Becky instantly locked lips with one another both there hands wandering up and down the others body. More would have happened if Becky's mum didn't walk back into the house at that point. The couple instantly separated.
"You have a room for that you know"
Becky instantly got embarrassed but Stephen just laughed
"I'm going to take susie for a walk would you two like to join me.
"Does it look like he can walk"
Becky asked her mum sarcastically
"Actually i'd enjoy the fresh air ms Quinn"
Becky looked at Stephen annoyed Stephen instantly knew why Becky didn't want to go she wanted to continue there previous activity. Stephen smirked at Becky as he slowly pulled himself up and whispered into her ear.
"Don't worry I'll deal with you later"
Becky giggled and they headed off into the countryside. Stephen slowly followed behind Becky and her mother not wanting to slow them down but Becky did eventually slow down for him and took hold of his arm as she cuddled into him as the took there time enjoying the peace and quiet and fresh air.
Once the did make there way home an hour later Becky rushed Stephen right into the bedroom and made him deliver on his promise earlier. Once the couple had finished Becky cuddled into Stephens chest as he placed a hand in her hair and kissed her forehead as she slowly drifted to sleep while he laid there wide awake.
He knew tomorrow was going to be life changing and had the potential to be the best day of his life.
