Chapter 2

Ashlyn pov

I woke up with a throbbing pain in my head. "Good your awake." A man said. He had brown eyes was well built and kinda tall. "My name is Jason" He said. "I'm Ashlyn" I said. I tried to get up but failed misserably. I was about to fall but Jason caught me and said, "Be careful your very weak you need some food. Stay here and I'll get you some food." I smiled weakly and said, "Thanks" He noded and went to get me some food. He came back with ramen noodles. I love those. He sat them on the table and said, "Alpha will be here in a few minutes to talk to you." I said,"Okay thanks" He left. 10 minutes later a person I thought I would never see again walked in. "Jake!" I yelled. He laughed and came to give me a hug. Jake was my bestfriend when I was little. I used to come with my mom on buisness and I would play with Jake while she worked. "What are you doing here?" He asked. I was going to think of a lie but I knew he could see right through me. I told him the story and he gave me a long hug after I finished. "Hey how about you join my pack. The room that you used is still here and nobody uses it." He said. I was touched and said, "You would do that for me?" He gave me a 'Duh' look and I gave him a hug and said "Yes I would love to." "Great I'll Have Brittany go with you to the mall to get you some clothes. I heard a squeal and instantly knew who it was. "Brit get in here and give me a hug" I said. She was at my side in the blink of an eye. "I missed you so much. How have you been? What are you do-" Her mouth was covered by Jake's hand. She came over to me and hugged me. He must have told he through mindlink. "Well me and some friends were going to a movie this weekend did you want to come?" She asked. I noded. After a while of conversating Jake helped me to my room. I dedcided to take a long bath because it was long overdue. I was in the tub for an hour. When I came out there was a pair of pj's on my bed. I put them on and got into the bed. Right When I was about to go to sleep I heard my phone ring. It was my mate. I turned it off and tried to go to sleep. Key word tried. I got a text from my mate that said

Mate- If you are alive then send me a text back

Me- >:(

Mate- Ashlyn your alive where are you?!?

Me- >:(

Mate- Come on Ash don't be like that type something other than that

Me- Something other than that

Mate- Haha very funny

Me- I know now leave me alone. >:(

Mate- Fine then bye

I was about to go to sleep when I got another text but it was from Jasici

Jasici- Hey are you alright

Me- Yea I'm fine

Jasici- Oh so you answer to your sister but not me your mate!!!! >:(

Me- No I'm not your mate you rejected me so >:(

Jasici/Mate- ouch that hurt :(

Me- Yea well so did rejection

I threw my phone against the wall and the screen cracked. Jake came in and said, "What happened?" "I threw my phone across the room." I said in a calm voice. He asked "Why?!?" I pointed to the phone and said, "Look for yourself." He picked up the phone and scrolled through the messages. "What does he mean you'll answer to Jasici but not him." I took the phone and put it on the other conversation that I had with my mate and gave the phone to him. He read it and said, "You should get a new phone when you go shopping tomorrow." "With what money?" I asked. "You can use my credit card and I'm not taking no for a answer." He said. I knew not to argue cause he had that 'I will win this no matter what' look. I sighed and said, "Fine" I went to sleep after that.
