"Hello Elena, Arianna, it's nice to see you again." she says in that stupid no emotion voice. I don't think she is capable of showing any emotion, except maybe cruelty.

"Again?" Jenna demands, still completely confused...and pissed.

"So you're the women who is dating my husband." Isobel looks Jenna up and down, like Jenna could never be better than Isobel. So wrong Mama. "I need to speak to the girls, can I come in?" Isobel asks.

"No, you can't." I glare.

"I need to speak to you two." she insists, still looking annoyingly calm.

"Let me think about that...no!" I slam the door in her face, not giving her time to respond. I look back over at Jenna and see a tear running down her face. Shit...

"You two knew she was alive?" Jenna whispers sounding heartbroken. Elena and I don't answer, we just look at the ground. "Ric? John? Did they know?!"

"We can explain everything, Jenna-" Jenna cuts Elena off before she can finish.

"No." Jenna shakes her head, running up the stairs. Elena follows her up calling out to her, but that won't help. Jenna needs time to take everything in, Elena pestering her won't help anything.

I sink down to the floor, leaning against the front door. I sigh, looking up at the ceiling. Why does nothing ever go right for Elena and I? It seems like whenever something is good, it turns bad right away.

Can't we just get a fucking break?

------------------

"Shouldn't you be with Isobel and Elena right now?" Damon questions as we walk up the stairs towards Luca's apartment. I kind of ditched my sister, and decided to go with Damon. Jeremy and Bonnie are with us but Bonnie is better than Isobel. Sometimes.

"I should but I don't want to be. I would rather find a witch massacre site." I shrug, lacing my hand with Damon's hand.

"It's exciting stuff isn't it?" he smiles.

"The best." I agree, letting out a little laugh. Bonnie and Jeremy look over at us with weird looks. I glare at them, flipping them both off. Jeremy rolls his eyes and Bonnie looks like she wants to set me on fire.

We get to his apartment, and Damon pushes open the door slowly. He sticks his hand in to see if he can get in, it goes through. "Yup, everybody is dead." Damon smirks, walking into the room. My eyes can't help but go to the dead kid on the ground. His body completely covered in burns. Poor guy...

"We should pack up the grimoires, they spent years collecting them. I want to make sure they are safe." Bonnie tells us, coming over to stand by Damon and I.

"You know, we could just get another match and cremate him." Damon jokes, looking at Luca's dead body.

"Don't be disrespectful." Bonnie sighs, "Not to him." she whispers, looking down at his body. Aw, did her and witch boy have something going on? I've been thinking it's her and Jeremy but I could be wrong.

"Fine, I'll bury him." Damon shrugs, grabbing a blanket off the ground.

"So what exactly are we looking for?" I ask, frowning at all the books around us.

"According to Luca's Dad, one of these contain a spell that will let me harness the energy that is left behind when a witch dies violently." Bonnie explains.

"I didn't know you and Father Witch were so close." Damon smirks, looking over at Bonnie mockingly.

"We weren't...but when he gave me my powers back, he gave me a message. If I can find the spot in town where the old Salem witches were burned, I can harness their energy to use when I need it." Bonnie smiles, looking smug with herself.
