37. Party

I started dressing up for the party. Why am I so nervous though?
It's like, something's gonna happen that's unexpected and wild.

I decided to wear a denim jacket, a black sleeveless glittery romper and some white sneakers.
I'm so excited to see my friends and Kyu Ahn.

I haven't seen Kyu Ahn in a few years now.
But, unfortunately, Soobin, Jae In and Jae Hwi are gonna be in the party...somehow.

I don't know why they're here.
I mean, I get if Jae In was invited because Kyu Ahn did become classmates and friends with Jae In.

But, why Soobin and Jae Hwi?
I just realized Kyu Ahn is quite the popular girl.

But, me and Minyoung don't see her around the school?
I decided to text Minyoung.

minmin unnie!! where
are you right now?? won't the
boys pick us up? like last time??

yeah, they'll pick us up.
i texted woojin and he said
they're gonna pick you up
then me. they'll be there in
8 minutes.

8 minutes later, just like last time, I heard honks of a car, which is obviously them.
I went down, said goodbye to my parents then went inside the car.

It was not the same car as last time, it's..bigger?
I went inside the car and saw 2 people I don't know.

I sat between Chan and Jeongin.
"Who are those guys?" I asked Chan.

Those 2 boys were currently talking to Jisung and Minho.
"Oh..them? Well, the one with blue hair is Minho's childhood best friend. The one with brown hair is Jisung's best friend. They both study in the same school and are friends with Kyu Ahn. Their names are Kim Sihun and Yoon Junghwan." He explained.

"Oh...." I said.
"Yeah. The one with blue hair is Sihun and the one with brown hair is Junghwan." He said.

The car stopped at Minyoung's house.
She was wearing a red dress and white heels because she's small. Kidding.

"Unnie! You look so pretty!" I said.
"Thanks. You too, dongsaeng!" She said.

"Thanks!" I said.
Of course, Minyoung sat beside Woojin again, who is driving.

"Sihun and Junghwan are invited?" Minyoung asked Woojin.
"Yes. They're close friends with Kyu Ahn." He replied.

Minyoung knows who they are? They must have the same classes together or something.
"Unnie, how do you know the both of them?" I asked Minyoung.

"Junghwan and I has Science class together. He was once my partner, actually. Sihun and I has Math class together. But, wait. When you entered the car, did you recognize them?" She said.

"No, not at all." I said.
"Heol. You must've forgotten already. Sihun was once YOUR partner in Math class and Junghwan, you have History and P.E class with him." She said.

"WHAT?!" I said.
"I guess I did really forget.." I added.

"Wait! Minyoung, is that you?!" Sihun asked.
"Yes! Didn't you notice me earlier?" She said.
