Huminga naman ng malalim si Lexus at nagbow bago nagsalita. Here we go again.
"My grades have been stable and I keep in touch with my club. I am still finding myself in this world, father," sabi ni Lexus, at ipinikit ng todo ang mga mata.
"As usual. I don't care if you don't improve quickly. But never diminish in terms of abilities and achievements. Ymir, report your progress," sabi ni dad, at huminga ako ng malalim bago nagbow ulit.
This event last happened 7 years ago.
"Despite being a first year in my college preparatory, I managed to still become the vice president of the Rakuzen Council. My grades have been higher and I gained connection with other powerful clans. I am climbing my way up to the top three ranked students," pagpapahayag ko, nang may blangkong mga mata.
Mahirap paniwalaan, pero ako din to. Kung nasanay ang mga tao na napakaloko loko kong tao, baka magugulat sila kapag nakilala nila akobsa ganitong side ko. But do I care? No.
This is Xix, and that was Ymir.
"Very great, son. Keep it up, and don't mess our name. Akira, report your progress," sabi ni dad, at yumuko naman si Akira.
"I became the Rakuzen council president in the High School department and my grades have been stable." Sabi ni Akira, at kumunot ang noo ni dad.
"So Ymir has the most progressing future among the three of you? I figured. But that is not the reason why I am here tonight. I am here because I am announcing that Xena Èite Zin, your half sister, is gonna be living under the same roof as you. She proved herself worthy of carrying the Zin name, so I figured she'd be worthy of living in the same household," sabi ni dad, at biglang kumunot ang noo ko at nagtalim ang paningin ko.
Seryoso ba siya dyan sa ginagawa niya? Kumulo yung dugo ko. Si Xena? Dito? Sa bahay na to?! Hindi ako papayag!
Agad naman akong tumayo mula sa kinauupuan ko at tumingin kila mom and dad with sharp and cold eyes, the one I had when they used to live with us. Bakit ba kasi sila bumalik?! Life was free and easier when they never showed up!
"Ymir Xix! Sit back down! You are disprespecting your father!" Sabi ni Mom, and I gave her a devious smirk.
Sabay naman na tinaliman ko ng tingin si Xena. She had a poker face on, one that I knew all too well. Tinignan ko si Lexus at umiling siya ng kaunti na parang sinasabi sa akin na wag kong gagawin ang iniisip niyang gagawin ko. Nagtama naman ang paningin namin ni Akira, at umiwas siya ng tingin. Sa lahat ng tao, siya ang hindi pinakasanay na makita akong ganito.
"Disrespecting my father? Who calls himself a father after leaving for almost a decade with no trace? Who? Oh, someone who was named Lysander Firz Zin. Wait, heck, you were gone too! So let me walk out of this door in peace, don't expect me back tonight," sigaw ko sa kanila, at naglakad backwards. Nahagip ng mata ko si Xena na umiiling. "And Xena? You're not my sister. I only have one sister and that's Akira. Stay the fuck out of my business and we're fine."
Tumalikod na ako at naglakad ng nagpipigil ng galit palabas. Tumakbo ako papunta sa kwarto ko at kinuha yung set ko ng car keys, sabay tumakbo palabas matapos na madukot yung isang malaking bag ng Lays. Original. Buti naman. Kundi sasabog na ako dito sa inis kapag barbecue yang lintek na yan.
