1,1k readers. Oh my Jamie Fraser. Thank you so much. To celebrate that my new story is online.

The dinner with the colonel and his regiment was quite okay, getting used to eating outside and ignored by the men I traveld with. It was quite a change to eat at a table and taking part of the conversation.
They asked me where I came from, how I ended up here and how it was to travel with those savages as they called the Highlanders.
I told them the truth as far as I could. Sticking to the story from the sinking ship. As I looked on the calander behind one of the Lieutenant, I saw it was August. Which means I was already here for 2 months.
2 months also in my time that I disappeared. Imagine the pain that mine family has to go through right now saddend me.
"It is quite an adventure you got Miss von Holland." Sir Oliver stated.
"Yes indeed. But brought here, I hope it's over now," I smiled. "See I hope to travel to Inverness and go on a boat there."
"Well I have imagined that you have quite enough of Scotland," Sir Oliver stated.
"The truth is no, it has a beautiful countryside, it's simply not the country I had set sail for." I smiled.
"Of course. Spain," he looked at Jeremy. "Lieutenant Foster. There most no problem in escorting Miss von Holland to Inverness to book passage."
"No problem at all sir," Jeremy smiled at me.
"I'll be grateful for that," I smiled back.
"It's a promise miss, you have my word," Sir Oliver said and I felt relived.
"In that case," I picked up my glass. "Cheers to the good Commander."
As we all raises our glass the door opened and a man barged in.
"My lord, can I inform you that on this moment..."  he started.
"God lord Captain Randall are we under attack?" Sir Oliver cut him of and I froze.
Randall, Captain Randall. The man I met in the woods and the man that scarred Jamie for life.
"We are not," Randall answered.
"You putting the Claret at risk," Sir Oliver sounded offended at I tried to muffle my laughter. "I suggest you step outside and get ride of the dust on your clothing,"
"By all means we must protect the claret," Randall sarcastically agreed and walked to the doorpost but stopped as he saw me. There was a staring contest between us.
"Am I mistaken or do you know eachother?" Sir Oliver asked.
"For a moment there. This lady looked familiar, but I'm wrong" Randall answered.
"I have no idea," I lied with a kind smile.
"Well Captain Randall let me introduce you to Misstress Greer von Holland from the Dutch Republic, Greer meet Captain Jonathan Randall," I raised my glass towards him.
"Captain," I smiled wickedly towards him.
"Charmed," he turned around to the doorpost and knocked the dust of his clothing and boots. "I trust I am now presentable," he said again sarcastically.
"Yes, yes. Someone pour a glass for the good Captain," Sir Oliver said while I shifted in my chair. "Now tell us why you barge in,"
"My lord at this very instant. Dougal MacKenzie. Warchief of Clan MacKenzie is downstairs quaffing ale," Randall spat.
"That is not news Captain. He is the one escorting Miss von Holland here." Sir Oliver continued eating his food.
"Was that indeed?" Randall looked at me and I nodded.
"Yes as old guest of the Clan, Dougal wanted to make sure I arrived here in good health," I smiled friendly. "Highlanders are not that cruel,"
"A Dutch lady and a Scottish highlander Chief," Randall said. "I can't quite put the pieces together."
"Well it is an exciting story filled with robbery and murder. Sadly you mised it," Sir Oliver laughed. "Well I know it. Captain Randall is escorting you to Inverness, that way you can tell the story again allong the way." I froze.
"Misses von Holland along the Savagers," Randall said and the table started to snicker.
"Well, I doubt Miss von Holland would choice such provocative title," Sir Oliver said and there was laughter again.
"Well the lady claims to be threatend wel by her Scottish Friends." Jeremy stood up for me.
"Yes in fact I was," I filled in. "Maybe because I was not a Red coat as they called you," I smiled taunted towards Randall.
"Well Private McGreavy would agree with you, if he was still alive." Randall fired back and the room felt silenced.
"Don't bring up that sad subject," Sir Oliver warned him. "You gave the lady the vapors."
"I'm not easily shocked. I saw plenty of Horrible things back in my Country," I said. Well not live but on paintings. "Please captain, tell me, let me be entertained by your story now,"
"Two weeks ago, Private McGreavy made the mistake of wandering off from patrol, we found him two days latsr, sitting legs crossed. Head held in his both hands. Decapitated," Randall said and looked at me but I didn't pull a muscle.
"It must have been a sad day for private McGreavy," I agreed. "When he got stationed in Scotland."
"For all of us," Jeremy quickly took a sip.
"Is that all you have to say?" Randall asked and I fell the room stare at me.
"While I was on the road yesterday, we came across two highlanders. Hanging on two crosses," I told him as he stepped back. "It was quickly discovered and determined that this was not the work of the watch, but at the hand of your people."
"If so, the it would be a result of English Justice." A man proclaimed.
"It might be, but this doesn't make you a hair better than the Highlanders as you describe them." I fired back.
"Undoubtedly traitors to a man," another one said.
"Exactly the words that where carved in their chest. I doubt there was no trail to determined that," I looked at them.
"Well, you can be sure that Private McGreavy sentence was administered without benefit of trial," Randall walked towards me and grabbed my chin.
"So both sides did things that they would both be ashamed of," I pulled myself lose.
"Dog me, that's a woman's view for you if I ever heared one," a man said. "That is why I make it a point never to discuss politics with a woman."
"I tought this was about morality," I kept on smiling. "Not politics,"
"Well I have to wonder if your moralities are any clearer than your view on politics," Randall said.
"What are you implying?" Sir Oliver asked.
"Well living all those times among Savagers, I can't wonder if Dougal had shared more than just bread and shelter with this lady, perhapes he had also shared his bed," I felt stunned and personally attacked by the man.
"How dare you?" I stood so quickly up that my chair fell. "Implying that I played the whore. That is a very scurrilous charge."
"You crossed the line sir," Sir Oliver warned.
"If I am wrong, I apologize," Randall said.
"Accepted," I crossed my arms but he didn't pay attention to it.
"But what other reason would the lady have to choose this babarians over the help of the English?"
Everybody looked at me as I was knocked of my feet.
"Well maybe because my first encounter with a English man was not that good," I fired back. "The Scots want's the same freedom you and I enjoy. Freedoms that seems so normal to us. They are not the barbarians Captain, you are. It's their land and you are occupying it,"
There was a moment of silence after my rant. "I believe it's the king's land," Sir Oliver said. "I must say madam, your sympathy with them is extraordinary puzzeling for a outsider of this country,"
Well there you go Skye, one change of freedom and you and your big mouth jeopardized it.
"I can assure you Lord Thomas," I cleared my throat. "I'm not here with a secret agenda, I'm just saying what I saw."
"Well you have to return quickly towards your journey," Sir Oliver said. "Your mind is clouded for living to long with the Savagers and even tho you are not an English subject, those words are still no good."
"I could leave today," I took the opportunity.
The door suddenly opened and someone barged in. "Sir, three enlisted men have been fired upon by persons outside town," the young man said.
"Any casualties." Sir Oliver asked.
"One wounded, two dead. The wounded is in a bad stated, the surgeon is on his way," the man answered.
"Men pull to arms, Miss von Holland you stay here until we return," Sir Oliver ordered and all the men jumped up and rushed outside the door while I stayed behind, think I was all along until my eye fell on Captain Randall in the corner.
Well this was going to be fun.
