I took a nervous breath as I saw Jamie walking out of the church we where going to marry in.

I was a bit taken back when my eyes met his and he smiled a little

I was a bit taken back when my eyes met his and he smiled a little.
My brain registered in the distant that the cloak was removed which was hiding mine wedding dress and it was Jamie's turn to be taken back.

He bowed as he stood in front of me and then laid his hand on his chest. "Yer servant Madame,"
A nervous blow hit me and fuelled my already upcoming anxiety attack.
"I can't marry you, Jamie," I sat not looking at him. "I don't know your real name," he doesn't know mine but that was left behind for this moment.
"James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser," he said fast and even. "And yes you can dear,"
"This is sweet and all, but we have to get in to the church before the Sassenach' are here," Dougal said and James offered me his hand we walked to the church. He let me for him and I descended down the stairs.

"I, James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser. Take tey Greer von Holland to be my wedded wife," I listened to his words almost brain death as I started blankly at our hands. "To have and to hold to this day forth," I looked up and saw him smile with a reassuring smile. "Till deaths do us part." Or some stones.
I repeated that vow with a shaking breath. Still not registering that I was now married.
"Do ye have a ring?" I heared the pastor asked Jamie.
"Aye," Jamie answered and I looked at him as he laid the ring on the bible so the pastor could speak a blessing over it.

It was not something I expected since we both knew only yesterday that we were going to be wed this day. But Jamie didn't wanted to appear empty handed at the wedding.
As he slipped the cold metal on my right ringfinger mine hand felt like it was now carrying a 100 kilo within it. So mentally heavy it felt.
Jamie and I both started into eachother eyes and I fell warmth inside of me. But that was quickly taken away when Dougal took my right arm. Cut my wrist, did the same to Jamie and then pressed it together and tied a fabric around it. I knew that the wedding would also include handfasting but this was not the way I studied it.
"Repeat after me and dinnae fash about the grammar." Jamie smiled and then started to say something in Gaelic. "S tu smior de mo chnàimh, na mo chuislean ‘s tu ‘n fhuil,*" He started and I bravely repeated it. "Bheir mi dhut-sa mo chorp, gum bith‘n dithis mar aon, Bheir mi dhut-sa slàn m’ anam, gus an cìochnaich ar saoghal,"* I had a hunderd procent no idea what I just had said but I sounded beautiful out of the mouth of Jamie.
"Ye may kiss yer bride," the pastor said and I saw Jamie looking half as shocked as I was towards the pastor. I had completely forgotten that the kissing part was also part of the ceremony.
Jamie took a deep breath and then bended forwards. Our wrist still tied together from the bloodbounding ceremony, instead of the handfasting I tought.
His lips met mine and I was taken over by rush of sweetness and warmth that was in his lips. The kiss was slow, sweet  and filled with a little hint of love. I took my breath away and I couldn't help to kiss him back. I stood a little on mine toes and then he suddenly as quick as he started the kiss he broke it of. Leaving me a kind of upset by it.
There was some clapping and I saw Dougal nodding approvingly. I was now from this day forward: Mrs James Fraser. While in mine own time if everything went right. I would be: Mrs Ben van Straaten.
Jamie letted me out of the church towards the tavern where we're celebrating the union and also have our wedding night.
That part made me a bit nervous. Because I technically would be cheating  on Ben since I never had called it off with him. In mine mind it was but in his illusion we where still together.
I pushed the tought away, I was now in this time and I did it partly to save my own life, so that I could eventually go back to mine own time.
"Greer?" Jamie asked worried as I felt his hand on my right elbow. It felt right like it always had belonged there.
I noticed I kind had blocked the path leading to the Tavern and I shook my head.
"Sorry," I smiled and started to walk again. Feeling all the trouble slip away with each step.
