The ride back to Leoch had brought more tension between me and Jamie. He tried to heal what have happend between us by talking to me. But as stubborn as I was I ignored him the whole way. Also the pain on mine arse was to noticeable to forget.
We arrived at Leoch near the end of the morning and I quickly jumped of.
"I going for a meal," I said for nobody important and then ran up the stairs towards the main hall.
Footsteps behind me have letted me know that Jamie was following me.
"Greer, Lass," he tried to grab mine wrist but I pulled it away and placed mine hands infront of me as I descended the small hallway. "Talk tae me."
"We where done talking when you gave me the first whip," I said and opened the dubble doors. Where something happend.
Mrs Fitz screamed something in Gaelic what sounded like Congratulations and I felt Jamie's arm around mine waist.
"Whit wur ye thinking. Marrying wi'oot us?" she walked up to us and gave me and Jamie a hug. "Jamie, mah laddie. Greer, mah lassie. Weel done."
I looked uncomfortable around but then I noticed Ailsa who ran through the crowd towards me.
"Greer, a'm sae happy fur ye. 'n' ah tellt ye sae. Ye 'n' Jamie ur perfect th'gither," she hugged me tighter than her Granny did.
"Yeah, yeah," I pushed her aside a bit. Not in the mood for whatever they had plannend. "The trip towards here really tired me out, I'm going to mine chamber."
"Ah dear, yer sleeping wi' Jamie noo, come ah shaw ye yer mairriage chamber," Mrs Fitz grabbed mine arm and dragged me away out of the hall while Jamie keep standing where he stood taking in all the good luck wishes.

The "marriage" chamber was just a regular chamber but the bed was bigger and decorated with rose petals. Angry as I was I whipped it off the bed.
I didn't wanted to be here and certainly not sleeping with a man who had hit me the previous night before. I walked towards the window and opened it while sitting down in the sill.
Jamie appeared in mine eyesight as he walked into the forest. Soon after followed by Laoghaire. I rolled my eyes and looked away. A small knock on my door drew mine attetion.
"What?!" I answered and the door opened showing Ailsa.
"Hello," she smiled hesitated and kept standing in the door opening.
"Come in," I tried to sounded friendly and she walked in. "How have you been doing?"
"Guid," she smiled. "Kin ah tell ye secret. Nobody kens yit nae even Lachlan,"
Not really in the mood for gossip but reasonable enough to not let mine frustration out on her, I nodded.
"A'm up th' duff," she slipped out with a big grin while I was confused as hell.
"What?" I asked even mine brain couldn't make something English out of this.
"Howfur did ye say that," she tought. "Och aye. A'm carrying a bairn,"
Then it clicked. "You are pregnant." Mine anger towards Jamie was forgotten and I was happy for Aisla who looked glowing and happier then ever before. "How long?"
"Geilis thinks tis two months, sae richt efter th' bridle," she answered.
"Oh Ailsa this is amazing, Congratulations," I gave her a hug as she smiled.
"Nobody kin noo it. Nae juist yit." She made me swear and I nodded.
"I'm happy for you, I truly am," I took her hands and she smiled even bigger.
"Noo ye juist hae tae git a bairn. 'n' thay kin grew up th'gither," she fantasized and mine heart broke.
I couldn't tell her that mine plan was still to get away from Leoch and even if I stayed, I didn't wanted to have a child with Jamie. The risks here where to high.
But again I couldn't tell her and I just pressed mine lips together while nodding and then looked outside.
Laoghaire came running back from the forest again. Her cape tightly clutched against her chest but I noticed that she only wore a skirt and a corset. With nothing but flesh under it. Mine mind added one plus one and I knew what she and Jamie had done there.
Ailsa noticed it to and jumped up. Saying something unfriendly in Gaelic and then looked at me. "Sorry, ah hae tae blether wi' mah sister." And with that she left.
Well Laoghaire was not the only one who was getting a talk tonight. Mine own husband could count on one either.
