**MEMORIES**

Suhana's pov...

After 2 months...

After locking the main door and checking it for the third time...your safety is in your hands only...my mother-in-law words not mine...I entered the kitchen area to pick up...my darling...my hot cup of chai from the counter.

What!!!Chai is my first love guys...

So, with my...phala pyar...safely in my hands, I headed upstairs towards my room but not before switching off the lights of kitchen and living room.

Bijli bachao, paise bacho aur paryavaran bhi... remember Paresh Rawal's advertisement ...haan... isliye bolti hu kabhi-kabhi t.v. hame kaam ki baate bhi sikhata hain...toh dekha karo tum log bhi t.v. meri tarah.

As I opened the bed room door, a sudden cool breeze came in direct contact with my pale skin making me smile in content as my legs on their accord started moving towards the source of wind

As I opened the bed room door, a sudden cool breeze came in direct contact with my pale skin making me smile in content as my legs on their accord started moving towards the source of wind. I sat on the couch by the window, sipping my favourite ...Adrak wali chai...while my mind was busy in its own world.

'After coming to this house, sitting like this all alone during nights while having tea and drowning in the pool of memories of the past or thinking about some random stuff has now become my favourite timepass, not that I am complaining though. I love remembering my old life...how I used to roam in that streets of Ambala(a small city on Haryana-Punjab border), my non-stop chatterings and my baba's(dad) only complain to my maa "kitna bolti hai yeh ladki. Sarla (Suhana's mom) tumne isse chup baithna sikhaya hain ya nahi" If today baba could see his Pari... (Suhana's dad called her Pari)... I wish if he could see me...he would be really very happy to know that, now I finally learn how to stay quit.

I miss my maa-baba really very badly. Do they also miss me? I wonder if they even remember me or my existence. "Don't ever come back here. Aur aisa kuch mat karna apni sasural mein ki hame phir tumhari wajah se sharminda hona pade" my baba's parting words during my biddai are still fresh in my mind, and as he said after my marriage, my family specifically my baba broke all ties with me. Maa did sometimes contacted me but after few days her calls also stopped, certainly because baba came to know about that and he'd definitely emotionally blackmailed her.
