"Can't I just stay here? It's not really my type of crowd." I whined but jennie is not getting any of it.

"Come on! I don't want to be alone there."

"Lisa will be there, and once you find taehyung, the one ending up alone is me." I crossed my arms and she pouted.

"I'm not even sure we can have time together. It will be pretty crowded and my brother is keeping an eye on me." She sulked.

"Swear you won't leave me alone." I squinted my eyes at her

"I swear. Besides, jimin will be there." She smiled.

"It's not like I can talk to him anyway." I mumbled

"Just drink then." I glared at her

"You know how low my tolerance is for alcohol, do you want me to be a blabbering mess?"

"On second thought, stray away from alcohol. You might reveal things and my brother might punch my baby.." I sighed and got up.

"Well, you'll be there with me so you can keep an eye on my drink." She nodded and I got changed

"Will we wait for lisa here?" I shook my head

"I told my brother to get lisa and tell her I'll be running a bit late." She nodded and busied herself with her phone. I know she swore, but I also know they'd do anything to meet up tonight.

"Is it really that bad for you to date a kwon?" Her head snapped at me and she paled

"My father might bald me!" She protectively covered her hair with her hands and looked around, like someone will suddenly show up and shave her head off.

"Why is he against it?"

"He used to have this big crush on sandara park and is friends with kwon jiyong so he felt betrayed when he found out they're secretly dating." I snorted

"Not so secret now is it?" She rolled her eyes

"You know secrets are made to be revealed.

"Like yours?" I smirked

"Uh-uh! Not yet. I will reveal it myself. First, I just have to make sure I have enough money to run away." I laughed

"Oh, you're serious." I stopped when she didn't laugh.

"Are you crazy?! You're gonna elope with a kwon?!" She hurriedly cane to me and covered my mouth

"Shhh! You never know who's listening!" I took her hand and glared at her

"I'm sure taehyung would be man enough to face your parents." She groaned

"He is! And my father will kill him! Literally!"

"Then get pregnant." Her eyes widened on my suggestion.

"Are you kidding me?! Taehyung won't just be dead, he'll be double dead!" The thought of a dead taehyung being killed again terrifies me.

"Your father is that merciless?" I raised a brow

"Your father too if you do end up with jimin."

"You know I don't really get this war between the three families. How come a school is the one in between it, keeping the balance?" I sighed

"It goes way back to our ancestors. It's a really complicated story but to make it short, love triangle."

"Love huh, it can make peace or war."

"The love of friendship didn't stop aunt bom, dara and jiyong to be friends."

"But the love between the kwon and park caused complications."

"Why do arranged marriage even exist?! Tch." Jennie grumbled

"They clearly love each other to bore a child but they had to separate and fake her death to keep her safe. It's sad. But I'm happy I got to grow up with jisoo." I was startled to hear it from her

"So you know? About her being their love child?"

"Of course we know, and so does everyone else after she went missing." I remember my parents gling out in a hurry that time

"The elders held a meeting." She nodded

"They were blaming and accusing each other. I remember kwon jiyong throwing a fit to chanyeol. Accusing him but the latter just pulled dara behind him like jiyong's gonna take her away from him."

"Uh-oh. He's acting paranoid."

"That reaction only added fuel to the fire. If you think about it, if he's so scared about jiyong taking dara, if he knew about jisoo's identity..." I gasped

"You think it's him?" She sighed

"I don't know. All I know is we need to find jisoo asap." She glanced over to the window in worry. Wondering where her cousin may be.

"I'll look into it. I'm a park afterall" I bravely announced

"No. It's dangerous. If he's so obsessed to marry his own cousin, I think he's capable of hurting you, his own niece."

"Nah. I'm his favorite." I confidently said.

"Whatever you do, don't trigger something that can harm you." I nodded

"I'm sure it's not him though. He's a nice guy I tell you." I told jennie but also having doubts. He's my fave uncle too.

"Let's go before lisa kills us." We arrived at the club and sure enough, the place was packed.

"Jaewon?" My brows furrowed

"You know him?" I nodded. He's suho's friend

"What? How? He has been missing for like, ten years!" What? I looked at jennie in confusion.

"Ah, must be someone who looks like him." I chuckled awkwardly

"No. You just said jaewon, that's his name." I quickly scanned the crown and saw taehyung going our way

"Oh, look, your boyfriend's coming over." She distractingly looked away from me and I focused my eyes on that guy when his eyes found mine. I awkwardly smiled and looked away. My heart beating fast. He is one hell of  a handsome dude!

"Fancy what you're seeing?" I jumped a bit when I hear someone whisper in my ear.

"Woah, easy there!" He grabbed onto my waist so I won't fall on my butt. He smirked, looking over to the jaewon guy

"Yeoksi, girls always have eyes on him even from before." Jimin chuckled, taking a sip from his wine. I was just frozen in his arms, not believing what's happening.

"You ok?" He looked straight to my eye

"Never better." I squeaked. How to breathe?
