I opened my eyes.
"An unfamiliar ceiling."
"..."
My back was aching from sleeping on the floor.
Man, I guess I lived a comfortable life.
I got up and checked the time, it was a little over 5 o'clock.
I noticed Eri sleeping on the bed. I really wanted to pet her but I pulled myself back for many reasons. Her sleeping face was just incredibly cute and beautiful.
Her bags and a bunch of stuff was on a table. I quietly left the room and went downstairs to the front desk.
The attendant noticed me and greeted.
"Good morning!"
She was the same girl from yesterday.
"Good morning."
"So how was last night? Ufufu" she asked with a playful tone while covering her mouth.
"Nuh-uh-thing."
"Oh man, I set up a perfect atmosphere for you, come on," she said with a disappointed expression.
I gave her the 'oh really' stare and she stared at me back with the same expression.
We burst out in laughter.
After laughing quite a bit, I introduced myself,
"Seo-jun," I reached out my hand for a handshake.
"Serah," she responded while shaking my hand.
"Aren't you hungry? Come and take a seat, I'll get you some food."
"Oh, but I didn't pay for the breakfast service though."
"It's a special service for you! Take it as a sign of friendship."
"Well then, I must show you my utmost gratitude," I said, then got my knees "thank you, graceful ma'am Serah"
She lifted her skirt and played along.
"You are very welcome Mr. Seo-jun."
I looked up with a grin on my face, and she also had a grin. We burst out in laughter again.
"Alright I'll bring the breakfast when ready," she said while wiping her tears.
"Looking forward to it."
Seems like nobody gets up this early in the morning around here. Well, I guess I could ask later.
It felt refreshing, waking early in the morning and having human interactions.
I sat down by the round table and observed the decorations while waiting. Thankfully the smell in the tavern covered my odors. My nose naturally adapted to the smell of the tavern.
I reached into my pocket to grab my phone out of habit.
Oh yeah, right.
I remembered that I still had my keys. There was absolutely no use for my keys. But as a memento, I decided to keep it safe.
Most importantly it had all my Anime straps on it.
I went to the bathroom while I waited. I was afraid to see what a toilet looked like, but there was just a hole in a semi-ventilated room. Surprisingly there were toilet papers. I did my business as fast as possible and got out. There were even wipes to clean your hands with. I was impressed but confused. I returned to my seat.
