Chapter 25 - Long, but short trip.

"Seo-jun, it's here."

"Alright."

A nice looking carriage was in front of the inn, waiting. I stood in front, about to say my farewells.

"Well-"

Serah stopped me midway.

"Promise me you're coming back."

"I can't. As an adventurer I'm pretty sure there will be many obstacles, it is more likely I won't return, so I can't make a promise."

"Then just don't go."

"Haha, funny."

I spent time with Serah and the company for the past four-five days.

"You can't just leave me like that?"

I flicked her forehead.

"Sorry, but I made a promise to a certain idiot you see."

"Souka."

"I FUCKING TOLD YOU GUYS TO STOP."

"Nuuu, I'll NEVA stop. Hahaha."

I cleared my throat.

"Ashley, you wanna come along?"

"No."

This lil bitch... Kids like you are supposed to say, NO! please TAKE ME WITH YOU AHH AHHH. Why can't you act a bit more like a moe character? 

"Well, that's unfortunate. Stay strong, and don't make trouble."

"Yeah yeah."

Eri was finishing her farewells also. 

"Alright, farewell ladies!"

After all that, we approached the carriage, Deric greeted us.

"Your handbook! It arrived just in time."

"Noice, and what should I do with the paper?"

"You can keep it or dispose of it, it's useless now, all the info that's written inside should disappear the moment you open up the new handbook."

"Ok, I'll just keep it as a memento."

"We got some other adventurers coming with us. Three more."

"They're going to be riding on the storage carriage, protecting it. Put all your stuff on the second carriage."

"Ight."

The three adventurers came out to say hi. A guy with brown hair wearing an adventurous outfit approached first.

"Nice to meet you! My name is Henry."

"I'm Seo-jun."

"The new big deal in town, am I right?"

"Uhh, yee..."

I shook his hand and a big dark brown hair dude came next.

"Robert."

And after him, a blonde guy with a big bow approached.

"And I am Christopher."

"Nice to meet you all. This is my companion Eri-"

Eri disappeared.

"Eri!?"

She was in the carriage hiding.

"What's wrong?"

"I... I know that big guy."

"Oh really? You two must be a really great friend."
