CHAPTER 47

It was evening when Shivaay's sleep broke due to constant ringing of doorbell.

He looked at Anika who was sleeping peacefully. He kissed her forehead and went to open the main door.

As soon as he opened the door, he was surprised to see his mom dad.

S- Mom. Dad. What a pleasant surprise!

T- We are here as its my daughter's first karwa chauth.

Shivaay shook his head in disbelief.

J- Where is Anika?

S- Mom, she is sleeping as she was feeling very tired and weak.

T- Oh my God! Is she fine?

S- Yes dad. She's fine.

Tej & Janvi and Shivaay entered their bedroom and saw Anika sleeping with a cute pout. Shivaay just wanted to go and gobble up her pout but unfortunately he can't as his parents were also there. 😉

Jhanvi sat on the bed near Anika's head. She caressed Anika's hair. Anika smiled in her sleep and kept her head on Jhanvi's lap. Jhanvi was caressing her hair.

Anika slowly opened her eyes and Jhanvi bent down and kissed her forehead.

J- Did you have a good sleep, baccha?

Anika smiled and nodded her head. After few minutes, Anika sat up on the bed and side hugged Jhanvi. Tej also side hugged Anika.

A- When did you both came?

T- Just a few minutes ago. When we reached here, we saw that our princess was sleeping so we were waiting for you to wake up.

Anika smiled and hugged both of them.

J- Beta, are you fine now? Shivaay told us that you were feeling weak.

Anika glared at Shivaay while he just shrugged his shoulders.

A- Its nothing, mom. Shivaay is just over Exaggerating.

Anika showed her tongue to him.

T- But princess, if you were not well then you shouldn't have kept the fast.

S- Exactly. I told her the same.

Jhanvi and Anika looks at each other and sighed in defeat.

J/A- Like father Like son.

Jhanvi and Anika said in unison. Shivaay and Tej made an o shaped mouth.

J- Beta, are you sure you are fine?

A- Yes mom. I'm good.

Jhanvi nods her head.

J- Then let's go and I'll show you all the things we've brought for you.

A- For me?

Anika says excitedly. Jhanvi nods her head. They excitedly head towards the living room.

Tej and Shivaay were sitting in the bedroom.

T- Are you fasting?

Shivaay nods his head.

S-You also?

Tej also nods his head.

T- Have you told Anika that you're fasting?

S- Not yet. I wanted to surprise her.

T- Great. Jhanvi doesn't get surprised anymore. When I refused to have breakfast in the morning making some excuse, she told me ' Tej, if you are keeping the fast then don't pester me whole day that you're hungry. '😂
